The outcomes of the event

In the second year of this project, we were able to improve the educational program and realize the awareness about environmental protection for the participants. The participants and honourable guests from Thailand and Japan have worked together to exchange Educational Exercise and to highlight the growing relationship between the two countries, Thailand and Japan. This growing friendship also symbolises the memory of the event.

Impression from Miss Hisae ARAI

It has been two years since we registered the THF as an NGO in Cambodia. We continues to conduct educational programs related to the three distinct social issues we are targeting (Health Education, Cultural Exchange and Sports Development) and economic support to orphanages and charitable organisations. In the Kingdom of Thailand we were able to give educational opportunities to children who participated in this KBC project more meaningfully than last year. We are extremely thankful that we can continue these activities, thanks to everyone for your continuous support.

In this KBC project, we appointed a team of university students from Cambodia to the eco fashion show, and supported the international activities of young Cambodian artists. In addition, the educational exercise "Beauticise" produced jointly by Miss Japan Contest Organizing Committee with the cooperation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation of Japan, together with the promotion by the Governor of Bangkok. We received the souvenir from the Kingdom of Thailand, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Defense, to commemorate the success of this project.

The cooperation from Miss Japan and Miss Thailand also gave me excitement for the event.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all, the Deputy Governor of Bangkok, the Army First Division, BMA’s Department of Environment, Japanese Embassy in Thailand, Miss Japan Contest Organizing Committee, Miss Japan Volunteer Association. We will continue to aim for contributing to society through the enhancement of charity projects so we appreciate your continuing guidance and encouragement.
