WHAT: The community is invited to hear 5 legendary, award-winning musicians discuss their musical origins and what impact awards have had on their careers and lives. This event is sponsored by the Beverly Hills / Hollywood NAACP and AFTRA in collaboration with West Los Angeles College.

PANELISTS INCLUDE: THELMA HOUSTON is a Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and actress. With more than 23 albums, she was recently featured on both American Idol and America’s Got Talent.

RAY PARKER, JR. is a Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. In 1984, his song Ghostbusters was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

PAM & JOYCE VINCENT (“Dawn” of Tony Orlando & Dawn) In addition to their success with Tony Orlando, Pam and Joyce Vincent have had accomplished independent careers as pop and R&B singers and arrangers.

THOMAS “T.C.” CAMPBELL is an R&B, and gospel music producer, songwriter and keyboard artist. He is formerly a member of the funk music group Cameo and co-founded Spiritual Icon Records with Della Reese.
