Mohan S. Delkar Chairman, SSR Memorial Trust, Sayli, Silvassa. MP: 2019, DNH. Self-Profession: AAgriculturist, Politician, Social Worker Message It’s a matter of pride that SSR College of Pharmacy has come up with its Annual progress report 2018-19, highlighting major activities and achievement of the college in the year 2018-19. The SSR Memorial Trust was developed to cater the society with quality education and to improve the employability particularly in Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The initiative of setting up education hub was taken in the year 2003 particularly keeping into view the requirement of the residents and industrial community. The dearth of higher education facilities in the tribal region of Dadra & Nagar Haveli was felt, which lead to establishment of SSR Memorial Trust. The dream of providing higher education in the tribal region was accomplished by active support and association of academicians, professionals, industrialist and technocrats. Today the dream has transformed into reality and a campus comprising of different institutes have been developed to provide quality education to the students of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and the surrounding region. The college campus established near the industrial hub provides a unique learning environment to students. This year two students of the institute have secured position at the university level in Bachelor of Pharmacy.
