Follow Route 20 west 1.7 miles to the exit for Route 75. Take a right off the exit onto Route 75 North and follow 2.5 miles. Take a left onto Perimeter Road (see sign for the CT Fire Academy and the New England Air Museum). Continue 1.4 miles to the Academy which will be on your right. Parking is available at the rear of the building. 7 Connecticut Police Academy 285 Preston Avenue Meriden, Connecticut 06450 From North: Interstate I-91 South to Exit 19 (Preston Avenue). Take a left at stop sign at end of exit ramp. Follow Preston Avenue to Connecticut Police Academy approxi- mately one (1) mile Academy is on the left. From South: Interstate I-95 to I-91 North to Exit 18 (Route 66 East). Take Exit 12 (Preston Ave- nue). Take a left at stop sign at end of exit ramp. Academy is on the right just after the bridge. From West: Connecticut Route 691 East to Exit 12 (Preston Avenue). Take a left at stop sign at end of exit ramp Academy is on the right just after the bridge. From East: Connecticut Route 66 West to East Main Street Exit take a right onto Preston Avenue at traffic light Academy is on the right just after the bridge. 8 Department of Transportation Training Center 2780 Berlin Turnpike Newington, CT 06111 Phone: 860-594-3600 The DOT Training Center is located on the Northbound side of Routes 5 & 15 on the Berlin Turnpike, Newington. It is a one-story beige building just north of the large four story DOT Administration Building. From the North: I-91 South take exit # 28 to Rt. 5 & 15 (Berlin Turnpike). Go south on Route 5 & 15 approximately 6.5 miles. (Landmark: We are one mile south of McDonald’s, on the left across from Bond Dinettes). At first set of traffic lights, take a left into driveway and another left to Training Center. From the South: I-91 North take exit # 22 to Route 9 North: then take exit # 21 to Rt. 5 & 15 North (Berlin Turnpike). Go north on Route 5 & 15 for approximately 3 miles. (Landmark: Lowe's Home Improvement Center) From Lowe's, at 5th traffic light, take a right into driveway past large 4-story headquarters; then quick left to Training Center. From the East: I-84 West take exit # 57 to Rt. 5 & 15 (Berlin Turnpike). Go south in Route 5 & 15 for approximately 9.5 miles. (See I-91 South above from Landmark). From the West: I-84 East take exit # 52 to Route I-91 South. (See I-91 South above) 9 Dulles Airport From NETC Take Rt. 15 South to 340 Exit Approx. 25 miles MAMSI on Right. Continue on Route 15 South; Make Left at Leesburg Exit Approx. 21 Miles. Bear Left at Lees- burg Bypass Approx. 17 Miles. Bear right just after road becomes Dual highway Approx. 2.5 Miles you will see Blue Dulles Airport signs. Go to stop and make Left onto Route 7. Turn Right on Rt. 28 Approx. 7.8 Miles.
