How were places allocated? Details of how the places were allocated for each school and which schools still have places available are on our website: www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/admissions. If you wish to be considered for a place at a school which still has places available, please complete a new application form - these are available on our website or can be requested from the School Admissions Team (address overleaf). These applications will be considered on a monthly basis; please see below for more information. Waiting lists A waiting list will be kept for all oversubscribed community / voluntary controlled schools. If you wish to add your child’s name to a waiting list you will need to put the request in writing or in an email to the School Admissions Team (see overleaf for address). To add your child’s name to a waiting list you must have made an application for the school in the first instance. We will contact you in writing if a place can be offered to your child from a waiting list. Any places that become available at community / voluntary controlled schools will be reallocated on a monthly basis from April to July 2021 (dates available on our website). If there are more requests than there are places available, places will be allocated according to the school’s oversubscription admission criteria. You should not decline your existing offer of a place on the basis that you have made a further application for another school. Schools with foundation, voluntary aided or academy status operate their own waiting lists. The admissions team will forward any waiting list requests to these schools. 2 .
