The website allows the user to nominate a location on the map and then note your ideas, concerns or priorities. The information remains live for others to see. It is a great opportunity for rural people to have their say. Drainage Works in Beulah Yarriambiack Shire has secured funding from Vicroads for drainage and pavement improvements on the Birchip Rainbow Road in the area east of the railway line in Beulah. The area is industrial by nature and has very poor drainage. The earth drains will be improved, culverts will be placed across driveways and a hotmix surface will be applied to the property line. NBN SERVICES FOR WARRACKNABEAL A recent viewing of the NBNCo website shows that three different types of technology are going to be utilised within the Warracknabeal Township, those being wireless, fibre to the node (FTTN) and fibre to the kerb (FTTC). The wireless is currently available in certain areas while FTTN and FTTC are programmed to be operational in the second quarter 2018. Council is interested in the experience of those west of Yarriambiack Creek who have accessed or tried to access the wireless NBN service.
