This day is a national holiday in more than 80 countries around the world, including Norway, and is celebrated unofficially in many others. In Oslo, the day will be marked by the traditional march and rally organised by Landsorganisasjonen i Norge (The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions) with speeches by the main political party leaders. The event starts at Youngstorget at 11:25 with speeches followed by the march starting from Youngstorget at 12:45.
