Wolverine Service & Weekday Schedule and Service Changes

Mondays through Thursdays, October 14 – November 21

Phase three of the track improvement project for the 2013 construction season begins on October 14. While it will cause some service and schedule changes, the result will be improved ride quality and more reliable service for the Wolverine Service and Blue Water . Eastbound 350: Mondays through Thursdays x Train 350 will depart 20 minutes earlier (at 7:00 a.m.), and will operate 20 minutes earlier from Chicago to Battle Creek and intermediate stations x Train 350 will terminate at Kalamazoo. Bus service will be provided between Kalamazoo and intermediate stations to Pontiac. The chartered buses will operate according to the train schedule. Eastbound Train 352: Mondays through Thursdays x Train 352 will depart Chicago at 4:00 p.m. and operate 3 hours and 10 minutes behind the published train schedule.

Westbound Train 351: Mondays through Thursdays x Train 351 will depart Pontiac 45 minutes earlier (at 5:00 a.m.) and will operate 45 minutes earlier to Chicago and intermediate stations. Westbound Train 353: Mondays through Thursdays. x Bus service will be provided between Pontiac and intermediate stations to Kalamazoo. The chartered buses will depart all stations 30 minutes earlier than the published train schedule. x Train 353 will originate at Kalamazoo and operate to Chicago and intermediate stations on the published train schedule. Westbound Train 365: Mondays through Thursdays x Train 365 will depart Port Huron at 5:20 a.m. and operate 1 hour earlier than the published train schedule. Weekend Service - Possible Delays: All Wolverine Service & Blue Water trains will operate as scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but can have delays of up to 30 minutes. These improvements are part of the Accelerated Rail Program being carried out by for the Michigan Department of Transportation, which is leading a three-state effort to improve the 300-mile corridor from Pontiac and across Michigan, through northwest and to Chicago.
