The New 52 are organized under seven different "families," grouping similar characters or themes within the books together. By the release of the October solicitations, DC was no longer grouping the titles by these families. They instead began releasing one larger solicit, titled "The New 52 Group". However, titles that were not participating in an event for the month, such as " Forever Evil ", were still grouped together in the larger solicit by the previous family headings. So we put them in groupings so we would be able to promote and help Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 draw attention in groups. Woo-hoo, Road to No Man's Land! It's almost like they're paying attention to my silly suggestions in this blog's comment sections. Going by the page count, I suppose it will collect not only the individual 3-part arcs that ran in the three main Batman books, but also the Azrael issues that introduced Nicholas Scratch, the terribly ill-conceived Marilyn Manson wannabe who lobbied for Gotham to get quarantined. Now when are we getting some Aftershock collections? What's odd is that there's no JLA vol. I wonder if sales dropped too much once the TPBs got to Kelly's issues, but I'm glad they at least covered the series up to the end of his run. Unless volume 7 gets cancelled, of course knock on wood. The Multiversity one can't come soon enough. Vol 3 is when shows up in the ongoing, so the timeline would be right. Really glad to see Lemire's GA run get the deluxe treatment. A Multiversity deluxe was expected, but still welcome. Still surprised no new Ostrander trades listed, with the movie due next year, unless I missed it. Joe, you missed it. I'm hoping that it leads finally to the release of Vol. Fancy waiting for an Absolute Multiversity. DC might get me with the double dip for Multiversity. I can't wait to buy the collection, and I'm gonna jump all over an Absolute edition whenever it happens. Got tired of waiting for Absolute Infinite Crisis yeah, I like it, so sue me! New : Rough Justice is not the same trade as the one from back then, because it apparently has Annual 1 too. And the given page count of the Robin trade is too small for all three mini-series. Oh, and the cross- over that follows the second 90s trade is something called Total Chaos, not Titans Hunt. I found that to be a pleasant surprise. I'm really glad DC seems to be committed to regularly releasing new collections for a lot of the 90s and s Bat-books material. Miller's eventually. I'm really excited for the Lemire Green Arrow and Snyder Swamp Thing Deluxe HCs too, especially since they seem to open the floodgates for more of these kinds of collections for New 52 series. Unfortunately, DC doesn't seem to want to release many omnibus collections. Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 did indeed miss War Games. Not exactly sure how I overlooked it; thanks. Yes, on one hand, I'm glad to see the s and s getting some love and staying in print, in expanded editions even. At the same time, War Games went so wrong and was so charged ultimately that I'm really surprised DC is reprinting it or even acknowledging it at all. And y'think we'll get a new War Drums collection with War Games? I recall being very excited about a "prologue" trade way back when. Also, Batman: Shaman has an extra 8 pages compared to the printed version, which Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 have. That version has a lengthy intro so I am curious what bonus materials this new printing will have. Darker Genesis is the title of Swamp Thing This book is the follow-up to the one that was in recent solicitations. It's Swamp Thing by Millar vol. Please, DC! The first 2 volumes were so good! Just a small correction - there is no "Batman and Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 Endgame" one-shot, but there is a ": Endgame" which teams Anarky with Spoiler. This is incredible. I've been jonesing for a new edition of Batman: Shaman for a long, long time. The paper and reproduction quality on the new Dark Knight, Dark City trade is just Speaking of that trade, I'm gonna have a GREAT time figuring out where to put it on my shelf in relation to this new Robin trade, Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 stories weave in and out and take place in the midst of each other Hopefully they include pages from 13 and a certain issue of Batgirl, Multiversity: The Complete Collection of His Work from Mad Comics No.1-23 of which have Stephanie as Robin. Hey, man. Loved this update. So much good news. I have a couple of questions, though. Hopefully you can clear them up for me. First, do you have any idea what date the Lemire Green Arrow run will be collected? And what date is the Snyder Swamp Thing book being released? No Man of Steel Vol. In the issues that would be in Vol. But if so, great -- viva la vol. Volume 1 to celebrate the JSA's 75th anniversary. Two-Face from a few years ago. I don't know if I need another Crisis collection, but I'll probably end up getting it. I'm glad to see Green Lantern is still getting his 75th anniversary celebration volume. I was wondering since DC solicited so many for early in this year. I'm also beginning to wonder what volumes we'll see solicited in Wonder Woman and Aquaman seems to be no-brainers as DC appears to be concentrating on the founding members of the JLA for the majority of its releases, though with the success of Arrow on TV I imagine there might be a Green Arrow volume in Maybe to represent the Quality Comics characters? I admit I was surprised that there weren't volumes for or the solicited or announced for Speaking of the 75th anniversary celebration volumes, anybody know if the Spirit volume will include the Spirit Jam, which appears to be the only Spirit story not collected in its entirety in the Spirit Archives well, excepting the recent DC series? It woild also be great for all of Ostrander's Suicide Squad to be collected this time, and not only the first 8 issues. Oh my I've refused to buy the trades because I thought it deserved better, but never in my life had I believed we would actually get it this soon. Fantastic news! I already have the Absolute of Crisis, but It is a bit cumbersome and I think the Deluxe format really is the ideal way to enjoy graphic novels. It's just the perfect size. Oh, and the Omega issue that you think is left out of Batman and Robin 7 will actually be in the 6 collection, thereby ending that volume on a really epic cliffhanger. Can be seen on the Amazon listing. No Green Lantern, Vol. No Aquaman, Vol. No Swamp Thing, Vol. No Sinestro, Vol. No Catwoman, Vol. No Batgirl, Vol. No Superman, Vol. There are a couple post- trades, but not many, and none, I think, from really major series. So the question of whether we're looking at a line-wide trade re-numbering or not is still out there This list only includes collections that will come out until January By then, most DC monthlies will have just finished their first post-Convergence arcs, so it should take a few more months for these arcs to start getting collected.
