HOW TO GET THERE Manhattan Due to COVID-19, visitors are required to Battery Maritime Visit Governors Island reserve ferry tickets at govisland.org/ Building ferry. Governors Island ferries are free for: All NYCHA residents, children 12 and under, seniors 65 and over, current and former military servicemembers and anyone with an IDNYC.
