The Chair: — All right, I’d like to call the meeting to order. The first item of business today is the election of the Vice-Chair of the committee. I would open the floor for nominations.

Mr. McCall: — Mr. Chair, I would like to nominate the member for Last Mountain-Touchwood, Glen Hart.

The Chair: — Thank you very much. Are there any further nominations? Seeing none, Mr. Hart, will you let your name stand?

Mr. Hart: — Yes I will.

The Chair: — Thank you very much.

All right the next item of business . . . [inaudible interjection] . . . no there will be no campaigning for the position. Would you like to move a motion please?

Mr. McCall: — I would so move, Mr. Chair.

The Chair: — All right. Is there a seconder? Mr. Morgan. All in favour? It’s unanimous. Well done.

All right the next item before us is petition no. 304. As members can see by the papers distributed that all the rules have been complied with. The same can be said of petition 305 and petition 306. Okay could I have a mover for petition 304?

Mr. Hart: — I’ll so move.

The Chair: — Okay moved by Glen. Is there a seconder? Seconded by Warren. All those in favour? It’s carried unanimously.

Could I have somebody move petition 305? Moved by Mr. Stewart. Seconded by Mr. McCall. Any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favour? Opposed? It’s carried unanimously.

Then on petition 306, could I have a mover? Mr. Addley. Seconded by Mr. Morgan. Is there any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favour? Opposed? That is carried.

Okay we have before us a draft report of the standing committee. Is there any concerns in the report? If there are none could I have somebody move the report?

Mr. Addley: — I so move.

The Chair: — Moved by Mr. Addley. Seconded by Mr. Hart. Seeing no discussion, all those in favour? Opposed? That’s carried.

That’s it. Would somebody like to move adjournment? Moved by Mr. Stewart.
