Esteve, Manel - Baritone Biography Born in Barcelona he studied music and singing at the Municipal Conservatory as well as with his father, the baritone Vicenç Esteve. He has also received teachings from renowned artists as Joan Pons, Jaume Aragall, Bonaldo Giaiotti, Eduard Giménez, Carlos Chausson or Rolando Panerai. Recent engagements include Schaunard (La Bohème) at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Lescaut (Manon) at Bilbao- ABAO, Ping (Turandot) at the Teatro Pérez Galdós in Las Palmas, Prodoscimo (Il turco in Italia) with Ópera Oviedo, Taddeo (L’italiana in Algeri) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona or Belcore (L’elisir d’amore) with Amics de l’Opera de Sabadell. Future projects will bring him to the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo as Juan Nogales in Luisa Fernanda, Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) and Sonora (La fanciulla del West) in Bilbao or Silvio (I Pagliacci) and Dancaire (Carmen) at the Liceu in Barcelona.
