1) Mountain tour in Shahdag

SHAHDAG – The Shahdag tourism complex, the first ski resort in Azerbaijan, is located in the northeast in Shahdag National Park, named after the iconic Mount Shahdag in the Gusar region of Azerbaijan.

Tour description:

We offer you to groups of different sizes and levels best tour package for skiing experience in Azerbaijan. Shahdag Mountain Resort is less than an hour’s journey from Qusar via the new road to Laza. A direct bus service from Baku to the resort is planned. It takes under three hours to get to Shahdag by car from Baku. Ski slopes are available throughout the season in line with all the necessary equipment and the latest snow machines.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Baku

Arrival in Baku. You will be met by our driver and transferred to hotel for overnight. Check-in at noon. Leisure time.

Day 2: Baku – Shahdag ski resort

At 10:00, start sightseeing tour in Baku. Visit Martyrs’ Lane, called ‘Shehidler Khiyabany’ among locals. When you walk through Martyrs’ Lane, you will find a beautiful view overlooking Baku’s coastline. Continue touring new Baku and exploring architecture of 19-20 centuries: Nizami Street, Fountain Square, Nizami Ganjavi monument, Rasul-Zade Street. Pay a visit to Azerbaijan History National Museum and move to the old part of the city – Icheri Sheher. Visit Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Caravanserai, and market square with numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be visit to the richest bank of Azeri carpets – National Carpets Museum.

In the afternoon, depart to Shahdag (210 km, 3-4 hours). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Shahdag ski resort

Spend full day skiing at the first and the largest ski resort in Azerbaijan. Located near Shahdag National Park, the

Shahdag offers 7 lifts, 5 magical carpets, 14 slopes (5 green, 5 blue, 4 red), 17 km of skiable area with 2 free style areas. Sports area is located on altitude between 1,435 and 2,525 m above the sea level. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Shahdag ski resort – Baku

Enjoy skiing in Shahdag in the morning. Afternoon drive back to Baku . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Departure Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
