Green River The Ultimate CCR/ Tribute Show

A LITTLE BACKGROUND

Green River - The #1 Nationally Touring Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty Tribute Show is the brain child of native New Yorker Rick Horvath. Noodles as he is affectionately know, was born to perform this music. He started singing CCR songs in his very first band when he was only 13 years old.

CCR was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their musical style encompassed the and swamp rock genres. Creedence Clearwater Revival's music is still a staple of American radio airplay has sold 26 million albums in the United States alone.

The show is very faithful to a live CCR performance. Listeners enjoy a full 90 minute show of their favorite CCR classics (, , to name a few) and songs that Creedence would turn into live jams such as and Susie Q. The band also mixes in John Fogerty classics including The Old Man Down the Road and Centerfield capturing the energy of his current show.

Rick Horvath: Guitar/Lead Vocals

Rick "Noodles" Horvath has been a familiar staple on the East Coast music scene for decades. A founding member of NY's Sorethumb - one of Long Island's most successful working bands for over 20 years, he has also worked with many top studio producers & engineers: Mick Jones of Foreigner, Gary Lyons (Greatful Dead) and Steve Rinkoff (Meatloaf) to name a few. He acts as musical director for Rick Virga & All The King's Men, NY's #1 Elvis Tribute show which performed on Broadway.

Noodles shared the stage with Jimmy Buffett in an unannounced show at Margarittaville in Key West, FL. He has opened for such acts as The Romantics, Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze) and Colin Hay (Men at Work).
