November 2020 – March 2021 Overture Restaurant & Gallery Lounge hosts a series of rotating cuisine and cultural exhibitions that expand Sarasota’s exciting art scene. With each new exhibit comes the opportunity to re-think how we experience various cultures and culinary delights. Art Ovation Hotel presents Overture Cuba as its inaugural exhibition exploring a curated culinary culture of Cuba. This seasonal exhibition is Chef Mark Galvin’s interpretation of authentic recipes brought from Cuba to the United States. Cherished and passed down through generations, Overture Cuba celebrates the island’s cultural contributions through food, drink, art, and music. Chef Galvin’s culinary skill and creative energies combine in Overture Cuba as a sensory excursion for the connoisseur of fine Cuban cuisine and culture. Overture Cuba envelops guests in one of the most basic and influential experiences humans enjoy - food, drink, and the interpretations of each we apply in our own lives. Also included in this exhibition are the contributions of the Cuban artists featured in the Art Ovation Hotel’s main gallery area and the contributions of quality, fresh ingredients supplied by our carefully selected local partners..
