Keep Pasco Beautiful Announces Inaugural Arbor Day Eco Crawl ~~Enjoy giveaways, family fun at the January 17 event in downtown New Port Richey~~ NEW PORT RICHEY, FL ---- Join Keep Pasco Beautiful, in partnership with Pasco County, for the inaugural Arbor Day Eco Crawl, January 17, 2020, in downtown New Port Richey. The free event will offer multiple family-friendly stops along the “crawl” and kicks off at Ordinance One at 5738 Main St. (From there, participants will receive further instructions.)
Participants will enjoy eco-friendly giveaways (while supplies last) including native blanket flowers, reusable straws, totes, bamboo silverware and one-gallon tree offerings. Florida Forest Service arborists will be on hand to explain how different trees can benefit your yard, providing shade and stormwater runoff protection.
“Trees play such an important role in our communities and environment,” said Keep Pasco Beautiful Coordinator Kristen King. “We’re excited to celebrate Arbor Day with a unique event in a fun, new location.”
