LONDON TOUR November 6-13, 2021

XIAN ZHANG MUSIC DIRECTOR SAVE THE DATE!

The NJSO is delighted to announce a tentative opportunity to travel to London in November with Gabriel van Aalst in celebration of our Music Director, Xian Zhang, conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre. The evening’s thrilling program includes superb soloists. Best category seating is reserved in the center orchestra. The London arts scene needs little by way of introduction—it is a benchmark for excellence, offering a lively mix of British establishment and innovation. Hotel and location are crucial to the week’s enjoyment and we have Xian Zhang. Photo by Fred Stucker selected Brown’s Hotel, part of the Rocco Forte luxury hotel group, as our base. Occupying an enviable Mayfair site, the hotel combines an alluring combination of tradition and modernity and is the epitome of British hospitality. As we are developing the itinerary, much is still being confirmed as circumstances permit. We will revisit planning in late August as full reopening of venues and event scheduling unfolds. Flights to be arranged independently. Note: United Airlines schedule includes a daytime flight departing EWR at 8:30 am.
