He will coordinate every detail of the tour to give you an interesting, safe and unforgettable travel. CONCEPT Since time immemorial, the territory of Puno is governed by strong climate changes, mainly under the influence of the phenomenon "El Niño". At each change of the environment, the Andean people had to adapt themselves or disappear, achieving various cultural changes and technological developments. As a result, they became in turn, farmers, warriors or high Andean shepherds. As a testimony of the history of interaction between humans and their environment, the Time of the "Chulpas" offers to discover Chulpas - grave Funeral – from the Pukara (200 AC.), Tiwanaku, qolla and Inca (1450 DC ) cultures, as a reflection of the civilizations that arose from each environment created by our planet. A path between infinite landscapes that will give us very interesting readings at a time when global warming is gaining momentum. CUSCO LAMBAYEQUE Email: [email protected] Av. The belongings of the mummy were put close to it, and sometimes some gold or silver items, pottery and food were also found next to it. Beliefs say that after death the body will wake up elsewhere, where they might drink and eat like before dying. We observe different types of burials, from the most simple, Pre-Incas, to the most sophisticated mausoleum, with fully enclosed building blocks. Among the main features of this funeral constructions we note: * One entry, always directed to the east, used as a communication of the spirit of the deceased with the sun god. * The burial chamber, an arch formed with stones, uncut and of small dimensions. * Exterior made of blocks of hewn stones, large and fitted together precisely without closing the outside, without sealing them. * The upper part of Chulpas, from the Inca period, presents a row higher than the others, and which forms the cornice decorating the Chulpas. * Some stones have bas-reliefs representing mainly lizards and snakes. * Other exterior stones show protrusions, resembling to those found in Ollantaytambo, maybe used for handling other stones. * At the esoteric level, the Chulpas represent the male energy, because the Chulpas have the form of a phallus. Suggesting that to stay right the Chulpas needs the mummy; or that with the wish of the deceased, the phallus remains in erection. Return to Atunqolla We will leave the community and continue our trip. END OF THE SERVICES CUSCO LAMBAYEQUE Email: [email protected] Av. Manco Cápac 515 – Wanchaq Ca. M. M.
