Save the Date - Dinner with Golden Bears Wednesday, April 1, 2015 Multipurpose Room of the McFarland Student Union

Dinner with Golden Bears is a global phenomenon based on the premise of Dinner with Strangers and you can be a part of it! Dinner with Golden Bears will be held on Wednesday, April 1 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room of the McFarland Student Union.

This program is intended to bring alumni, faculty and students from all generations together to enjoy good food and great conversation. An award-winning program, this is an opportunity for current KU students to connect with alumni, share stories and prepare for life after leaving campus.

There are several ways you can help. One way is to host a table. You will be paired with 8-9 current KU students in your field of study or area of interest and discuss various topics over a shared meal. Feel free to host solo or co-host with another KU alum. The second way to get involved is to sponsor a table. The cost to sponsor a table is $200. Again, you can sponsor a table on your own or co-sponsor. Finally, feel free to both host and sponsor a table. This is a wonderful way to give back to KU, and students thoroughly benefit from this opportunity.

Students who have participated in this event have this to say: "I believe this experience was very worthwhile. I learned a lot and I truly believe that this will help me in the future. I really have appreciated the opportunity to have this experience." Also, "This event gave me great insight to the business world. I have been very nervous about graduating but I now feel relief. I enjoyed the experience a lot! Thank you!"

If you are interested in participating in Dinner with Golden Bears on April 1, either by sponsoring a table or hosting as well, please call the KU Foundation & Alumni Relations office at 610.683.4110 or email [email protected]. Thank you for your help and support of KU students!
