EXPERIENCE Immediately after graduation, worked at various capacities in Hindustan Copper Limited, Malanjkhand, Madhya Pradesh for seven years. Thereafter, joined Tamilnadu Industrial Explosives Limited (TEL) as Area Sales Manager and worked for nearly four years before moving to pursue the higher studies at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Worked as Project Manager (Head of the Unit) in a large opencast coal mine of a MNC located in Indonesia for a period of six months. In 2006, he joined the premier iron ore mining company - M/s. Dempo & Co (P) Limited, Goa as Mines Manager and worked nearly for two years to develop a new open iron ore pit in an environmentally fragile area successfully. Increased the Annual Sales Volume from Rs. 4.0 Crore to Rs. 9.5 Crore in the Organised Sectors for Tamilnadu Industrial Explosives Limited, Vellore. Introduced the new slurry explosive products for medium & hard strata and low gram detonating fuse (5 gm) for granite mines successfully from Tamilnadu Industrial Explosives Limited, Vellore. Completion of annual target for iron ore production from the mine on record time (3 months ahead of schedule) in M/s. V.S. Dempo & Co (I) Ltd, Goa. Designed and implemented a suitable ‘Underwater Drilling and Blasting’ technology for the Underwater Excavation Projects at Mumbai Port for Offshore Container Terminal, Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP) Channel, Mumbai and Ship Lift Supporting Berth in Jaigad Port (Maharashtra).
