IT plays an important role across the Bohunt Education Trust in terms of both support, network and curriculum. Working as part of a trust wide IT team, you will undertake a broad range of tasks, including maintaining the IT infrastructure and delivering effective service to staff and students of Bohunt School, and other schools within the Trust. As an integral and highly valued member of Bohunt School, you will be customer-focussed, proactive and re-active, in order to support the continuous and smooth running of the IT systems within the School. You will be competent in diagnosing and resolving issues and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will add value by your methodical yet creative approach to problem-solving, task prioritisation as well as a calm and diplomatic approach to situations. You will be required to set-up IT/AV facilities for assemblies, exams and other occasions as needed; a flexible and positive can-do approach is essential. Working knowledge and experience of network systems/fundamentals, trends and server administration is required and IT experience within the Education sector would be advantageous. Appendix 1 This Appendix lists the oversubscription criteria for all schools which do not use the West Sussex County Council standard oversubscription criteria for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools (reproduced at the bottom of this page). It includes all Church Voluntary Aided Schools, Foundation Schools, Free schools, Academies as well as Community and Voluntary Controlled schools which use variations of the standard West Sussex County Council oversubscription criteria. Where a school was oversubscribed in September 2020 the number of places offered in each category are listed beside the criteria. For oversubscribed schools the total number of places offered, together with the criteria and distance of the last place offered, is shown at the bottom of the oversubscription criteria. FAITH SCHOOL ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS and COVID-19: Some faith based admission authorities define children's or families' membership or practice of the faith for the purpose of school admissions through regular attendance at a place of worship over a specified period. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, there have been restrictions on the opening of places of worship (especially for communal worship) and parents and their children may have been unable to attend their place of worship as normal. This has meant that faith schools with admissions arrangements that prioritise applicants based on membership or practice of the faith, evidenced through regular attendance at a place of worship and/or at communal worship, may find their admission arrangements have been affected for the September 2021 intake.
