Page 2 of 7 Point Broadband Voice Features → Caller ID – Displays a caller’s telephone number and name. → Call Waiting – Allows you to place your existing call on hold and answers a waiting call. → Caller ID with Call Waiting – Displays an incoming caller’s telephone number while you are on another call → Three-Way Calling – Allows you to set up a three-way conversation that includes your phone and two other numbers. → Call Trace – Traces the number of the last call you received → Call Return – Determines the last number that called you and dials the number when you press *69 → Voice Mail with Notification – Allows callers to leave you a message and you are notified with a stutter dial tone. If your phone supports it, you may receive a Visual Message Waiting Indicator with a constant or flashing light displayed on the phone. Additional Voice Features Call Forwarding Always – Forwards all subscribers’ incoming calls to an alternative number without ringing the subscriber phone first. • To enable, dial *72, then enter the number you want to forward to and then press #. • To disable, dial *73 Call Forwarding No Answer – Forwards calls from the subscriber’s line to an alternative number only if they are not answered on the subscriber’s line. • To enable, dial *90, then enter the number you want to forward to and then press #. • To disable, dial *90 Call Forward Selective – This service allows subscribers to select a list of calling numbers whose calls will automatically be forwarded. All calls from numbers on this list are forwarded on a single alternative forwarding number. • To access this service, dial *63 or *83 Page 3 of 7 Simultaneous Ring Personal – Provides a way for subscribers to configure additional numbers (up to a maximum of 32) which will ring at the same time as the subscriber’s own number, any of which can answer the call. For example, they could configure calls to their home phone number to also ring their mobile phone. • To enable, dial *361 • To disable, dial *362 Call Forwarding Busy – This service forwards incoming calls to an alternative number only when the subscriber’s line is busy. • To enable, dial *90, then enter the number you want to forward to and then press #. • To disable, dial *91 Automatic Callback - This service allows the subscriber to automatically redial the last outgoing call. • To automatically callback the last outgoing call, press *66 • To cancel all outstanding callback attempts, press *8 Anonymous Call Rejection - This service automatically rejects all calls for which the caller has withheld the calling number. This may be because the caller's line is configured never to send the calling number, or because the caller has dialed an access code to block the number before making the call. ACR does not reject calls for which the calling number is unavailable because it has not been provided by the network (for example on overseas calls). • To enable, dial *77 • To disable, dial *87 Speed Dial 8 - This service, also known as speed dialing, allows one-digit codes to be used as shortcuts for selected phone numbers. The subscriber enters the code and this is interpreted as if he or she had dialed the phone number to which the code maps. • Speed Calling codes have a one-digit range. The defaults are 2-9 • To use speed calling, dial the speed calling code and then either dial # or wait four seconds • To configure one-digit speed dialing, press *74 • Enter the one-digit speed calling code (2-9), followed immediately by the number to which the code maps and # • A confirm tone is played, then after a second of silence, either the reorder tone or dial tone is played Page 4 of 7 • To remove a speed calling code that you no longer need, you can either delete it using CommPortal, or use the handset to map it to a new phone number DND - Do Not Disturb - This service allows the subscriber to block his or her line temporarily to prevent incoming calls. Outgoing calls can still be made as normal, but incoming calls are not connected; instead, the caller hears an announcement that the subscriber is not currently accepting calls. • To enable DND, dial *78 • To disable DND, dial *79 Page 5 of 7 Point Broadband Customer Service 600 Fox Run Parkway [email protected] Suite 200 Opelika, AL 36801 Technical Support 844-407-6468 [email protected] .

  • Call Forwarding Setup Guide
AGENTZ.AI CALL FORWARDING SETUP GUIDE Instruction Guide on How to Implement Agentz Call Forwarding by Phone Service Provider [email protected] || www.agentz.ai || May, 2020 General Installation Guidelines There are three call forwarding options to use as desired: 1 - Forward All Calls This setting will forward all calls to your Agentz 10-digit number at all times. When should I use this? Use Forward All Calls settings when you know you are going to be unavailable to handle incoming calls. Some businesses automatically set their Forward All Calls on during off-hours, weekends and holidays. Agentz recommends this practice in conjunction with Forward Busy and Forward No Answer, but Forward All Calls is not required for a successful installation of Agentz. 2 - Forward Busy This setting will forward your calls when your line is busy. When should I use this? We recommend turning this setting on at all times if your phone service provider offers the option. This is a perfect scenario to allow Agentz to handle your calls. 3 - Forward No Answer/Conditional This setting will forward your calls when you do not answer your phone within a predetermined amount of time. When should I use this? We recommend turning this setting on at all times if your phone service provider offers the option. Depending on your phone service, you will have options to delay the call forward by number of rings (we recommend 4 - 5 ) or by seconds (we recommend 10 - 15). NOTE: Phone companies may update their call forwarding steps from time to time. We recommend that you also review the Help links provided for each service in the event that changes have been made to their processes.
