Every year, Bukcheong Lion Dance is played on the day of first full moon of the lunar year by a group of performers that travels from house to house, wishing for the peace and happiness in the region. For the 2018 Winter Games, the Preservation Society presents Lightening up Traditional Silk Lanterns by reproducing the lion dance with comical elements.

In commemoration of the 'Snow and Ice Festival' Winter Olympics opened from 2018 Pyeongchang to 2022 Beijing, International Mask Arts & Culture Organization and the Beijing National Treasure West Garden will exhibit oriental paintings on the subject of 'snow and ice'. This portrays the will to continue cultural exchanges between Korea and China and hopes to become a place of peace and harmony through the Olympics.
