7 KENOSHA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

Enrolling your child in St. Joseph Catholic Academy is an investment that will last a lifetime. From pre- school through high school, SJCA provides not only strong academic formation, but even more im- portantly, SJCA builds students with strong moral values, a commitment to God and a passion for serving others. Our high school students note why SJCA is special to them.

• “The most important lesson I've learned is to be accountable. We are taught to work hard and become respectful individuals and make a difference for us and to others in the world. - Kyle, Class of 2020 • “The people make SJCA special to me. A smaller community makes it almost impossible to not get to know everyone and thus makes stronger bonds with each other.” - Daniel, Class of 2021 • "St. Joe’s has given me an environment where I am challenged and also where I can learn more about my faith.” -Elizabeth, Class of 2022 • “SJCA is special to me because everyone is very loving and welcom- ing.” – Makayla, Class of 2023

SEE WHAT OUR ASCS FAMILIES HAVE TO SAY ABOUT OUR ASCS TEACHERS… “I thought ASCS did an outstanding job with e- learning. I know this was very unexpected and our teachers rose to the occasion. Their emails were informative; they were always available when I needed to email/call them with a question. They made homework fun. They gave support to parents. All 3 of my kids’ teachers gave support in emails to let me know I was doing a great job. It was so nice to get those types of emails. I was so proud to be a part of a school that cares so much. I LOVE this school. This is why I send my kids here, it’s more than a school it’s a family.” We would love for you to join our ASCS family.

Y mándame ir a Ti. Para que con tus santos te alabe. Por los siglos de los siglos. Amén

An Act of Spiritual Communion My Jesus, I believe that you are truly present with me always, for with the Father and the Holy Spirit, you are God, present everywhere at every moment. But because of your greatness and the limits of these five senses I have, I need some signs of your presence in order to sense it. The most powerful sign of your presence for me is the moment I receive you your Body and Blood in Holy Communion.

I cannot receive you that way now because of this pandemic, so I ask you to help me in this moment of spiritual Communion – and please in other moments as well – to feel your presence, your love, your forgiveness of my failings, your support in my difficulties, and temptations. I embrace you as if I had just received you sacramentally and unite myself wholly to you. Never let me be separated from you.

Anima Christi Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, fill all my veins. Water from the side of Christ, wash out my stains. Passion of Christ, my comfort be. Good Jesus, listen to me. In Thy wounds, I fain would hide, Never to be parted from Thy side. Guard me, should the foe assail me. Call me when my life shall fail me. Bid me come to Thee above, With Thy saints to sing they love For ever and ever. Amen!
