The article covers the phenomenon of rock music in the lives of young residents of the western regions of Soviet Ukraine, which differed significantly from the rest of the territory of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and the entire USSR. The article demonstrates the peculiarities among which this music was mastered, its existence in the youth society – from fashionable dance music to the core of nonconformitsm to the Soviet system. It was reflected in the names officially and unofficially used for rock music and its performers (Big beat, vocal-instrumental ensemble, etc.), as well as in relation to official factors (from tolerance to the prohibition). Consumers of rock music did not necessarily have to be opposed to the Soviet regime. However, the active “immersion” in rock music, and the related counterculture spheres (from the late 1960s onwards, and more and more), contributed to the formation of an alternative life style, which manifested itself in particular: listening to banned radio stations, the style of clothing that was associated with rock music, space for free performance / listening to rock music and exchanging information and impressions (“tusovka”).

“Veseli Vujky” Ukrainian folk band The band was created in 2011, by professional musicians who pooled progressive views on Ukrainian folk music and its deserving representation on the modern world stage. As participants in all kinds of Folklor, jazz, classical, pop ensembles, six Famous Kyiv musicians, decided to get together in one powerful and truly Ukrainian folk band. Each musician is brilliant creative person with rich professional achievements. “Veseli Vuiky” means – “merry men”, which clearly expressed in music and live performances. “Veseli Vuiky” were performing at festivals “Kraina Mriy”, “Organum”(Ukraine), “Ateliers d'ethnomusicologie”(Swiss), TFFRudolstadt(Germany). http://www.youtube.com/user/VeseliVujky https://soundcloud.com/veseli-vujky/sets/live-at-dzz https://www.facebook.com/pages/Veseli-Vujky-Folk-Band/219733928065000 Press: “Veseli Vujky Made up of young professionals experienced in all tricks of the trade, Veseli Vujky defines itself as a Ukrainian popular music ensemble. Forged from rural music traditions, their songs are served up in a contemporary style with passion and audacity. Brilliant performers, these six instrumentalists heat things up on stage. To their virtuosity they add creativity and a bit of madness. The result is irresistible music.” (Laurent Aubert - ethnomusicolog- Swiss). “Beim TFF machen Veseli Vujky ihrem Namen, der ubersetzt so viel wie „lustige Burschen“ bedeutet, alle Ehre. Virtuos stellen sie bei ihrem ersten Deutschlandauftritt ihre Auswahl ukrainischen Folks vor: uberwiegend Instrumentalstucke, Tanzmusik in zum Teil irrwitzig rasantem Tempo, die den Zuschauern sofort in die Beine geht und nach jedem Stuck groSe Begeisterung hervorruft.

The idea of coupling refers Sobkowicz, B.; Malek, L.A.; Blaszczak, to maintaining a relatively constant relationship between ventricular contractility and afterload. P.; Ptaszynska-Kopczynska, K.; Twenty-eight stable PAH patients (mean age 49.5 ± 15.5 years) were enrolled into the study. The Grzywna, R.; Kaminski, K.A. follow-up time of this study was 58 months, and the combined endpoint (CEP) was defined as Echocardiographic Assessment of death or clinical deterioration. We used echo TAPSE as a surrogate of RV contractility and estimated Right Ventricular–Arterial Coupling systolic pulmonary artery pressure (sPAP) reflecting RV afterload.
