European Parliament 2014-2019 Committee on Employment and Social Affairs EMPL_PV(2016)0418 MINUTES Meeting of 18 April 2016, 15.00-18.30, and 19 April 2016, 9.00-12.30 and 15.00-18.30 BRUSSELS The meeting opened at 15.11 on Monday, 18 April 2016, with Marita Ulvskog (Vice-Chair) presiding. 1. Adoption of agenda EMPL_OJ (2016)0418 The agenda was adopted with the following modification: Item 5 - Guidelines for the employment policies of the Member States was postponed. 2. Chair's announcements 2.1 Interpretation in all languages was available except Finnish, Maltese, Croatian and Gaelic. 2.2 EMPL Delegation to CEDEFOP: On 10-11 February, a delegation of the European Parliament's Committee on Employment and Social Affairs visited the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training. 2.3 At the request of Ms Costa, CULT Chair, a minute of silence was observed in remembrance of 13 students killed. The 13 Erasmus students were killed on a bus crash in Tarragona, Spain, on 20 March. 3.
