AXIOIDEA, DREPANOIDEA Y GEOMETROIDEA RESUMEN Con este trabajo sobre macroheterocera: Axioidea, Drepanoidea y Geometroidea, se continúa la serie sobre el Catálogo de la fauna lepidopterológica de la provincia de Albacete (Sureste de España). Se han censado 214 especies, de las cuales 127 han resultado nuevas para esta provincia. Los datos proceden principalmente de los muestreos realizados por los autores, completándose, en menor porcentaje, con otros procedentes de diversos colaboradores y los extraídos de la literatura, detallando en cada especie las fechas y localidades donde se ha encontrado, con indicación de la cuadrícula UTM de 1 y/o 10 Km. ABSTRACT With this work on macroheterocera (Axioidea, Drepanoidea and Geometroidea), we continue the series on the fauna Catalogue of Lepidoptera from Albacete province in South-eastern Spain. 214 species have been identified, 127 of which are new records for that province. The information is based mainly of the samplings undertaken by the authors. It has been completed - in low percentage - with further data coming from several collaborators and scientific sources. CATÁLOGO DE MACROHETERÓCEROS (II). AXIOIDEA, DREPANOIDEA Y GEOMETROIDEA 0. INTRODUCCIÓN Tras la realización de la primera entrega de la Fauna lepidopterológica de la provincia de Albacete dedicada a los macroheteróceros, Lencina y cols. (2008), este trabajo constituye la segunda parte y trata sobre las superfamilias Axioidea, Drepanoidea y Geometroidea. Su objetivo sigue siendo el mismo que el de la primera parte, es decir, dar a conocer el censo de especies de toda la provincia, sus áreas de distribución, fenología, biología, y en general los datos hasta ahora conocidos de cada una de ellas. Igualmente asignamos a cada localidad muestreada su correspondiente provincia de vegetación, lo que nos ayudará a conocer y comprender mejor el área de distribución de cada taxón, y por tanto donde vive, podría vivir, y/o donde se debería buscar. Además de los muestreos realizados con anterioridad al año 2003, con motivo de este proyecto se han prospectado por primera vez la mayoría de las localidades citadas en el Anexo I, ubicadas en provincias de vegetación poco estudiadas desde el punto de vista lepidopterológico. 1. ÁREA DE ESTUDIO Para evitar repeticiones de apartados comunes con trabajos anteriores, y en lo que se refiere al área de estudio, todas sus características se encuentran detalladas en el trabajo de Lencina y cols. (2008). 2. TAXONES REPRESENTATIVOS En lo que se refiere a los pisos bioclimáticos y provincias de vegetación, siguiendo a Alcaraz y Sánchez (1988) y posteriores modificaciones de Sánchez y cols. (1997) y Alcaraz y Rivera (2006), destacamos a Hemistola chrysoprasaria, Coenocalpe millierata, Anthometra plumularia, Idaea efflorata y Cinglis andalusiaria, como las especies más representativas del piso mesomediterráneo, y a Perconia baeticaria, Peribatodes abstersaria, Selenia lunularia, Gnophos furvata, Chloroclysta siterata, Eupithecia carpophagata, Brachyglossina hispanaria e Idaea korbi, como las especies más destacables del piso supramediterráneo. INTRODUCCIÓN En una primera entrega sobre los "Macroheterocera (Lepidoptera) de la provincia de Málaga hasta 2015", se presentó el resultado de la búsqueda de imagos de este grupo faunístico en entornos humanizados (Moreno-Benítez & Gallego- Domínguez, 2016). En esta segunda entrega, se presenta el resultado obtenido mediante el uso de trampas lumínicas, el método más utilizado por los entomólogos en el estudio de los macroheteróceros. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO Se han realizado 78 muestreos con trampas lúminicas en diferentes entornos naturales, principalmente durante las primeras horas de oscuridad. En ello se ha invertido algo más de 169 horas, en el periodo desde 2012 hasta 2015 (tabla I), principalmente en los meses de primavera y verano (tabla II).

Subsequent analysis of SEM imaging provides data related to the chorion structure, as well as that associated with the strategies adopted by females at oviposition under laboratory conditions; comparative data are provided of other European sterrhines. RESUMEN Descripción de los huevos y de las estrategias de puesta de seis taxones de Sterrhinae de Madrid, con datos comparativos de otras especies de la subfamilia (Lepidoptera: Geometridae: Sterrhinae) Se presentan datos inéditos que describen los huevos de los siguientes taxones de Sterrhinae Meyrick, 1892: Idaea litigiosaria (Boisduval, 1840), Idaea sericeata calvaria Wehrli, 1927, Idaea ochrata albida (Zerny, 1936), Idaea incisaria (Staudinger, 1892), Idaea cervantaria (Millière, 1869) and Scopula (Glossotrophia) ase- llaria dentatolineata Wehrli, 1926. Se ofrece un análisis pormenorizado de las imágenes MEB en cuanto a la estructura del corión se refiere, además de una descripción de las estrategias de la puesta adoptadas por parte de las hembras en condiciones de laboratorio.

Mitt. 36/37 163-222 Dortmund, 2003 Die Blütenspanner Mitteleuropas (Lepidoptera, Geometridae: Eupitheciini) Teil 6: Vorkommen und Verbreitung Hans Joachim WEIGT, Schwerte Einlegung Obwohl die Blütenspanner zweifellos zu den interessanteren Schmetterlingsarten zählen, gibt es leider nicht allzu viele Spezialisten, die ihnen eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit widmen. Attraktive und bunte Schmetterlingsarten sind selbst in den Tropen besser erforscht als die mitteleuropäischen Blütenspanner. Unscheinbare Nachtschmetterlinge hingegen, wurden sicherlich auch früher wegen der Determinationsprobleme nicht von allen Entomologen rich­ tig und vollständig erfasst. Bei den Blütenspannern kommt noch erschwerend hinzu, dass selbst soeben geschlüpfte Ima­ gines oft schwer zu determinieren sind, von stark abgeflogenen ganz zu schweigen. Sie be­ reiten auch erfahrenen Spezialisten so manches Problem. Vielfach hilft dann nur noch die Ge­ nitalanalyse. So werden auch heute noch beim Beobachten von Nachtschmetterlingen die Blüter spanner meist vernachlässigt. In vielen Fundortkarteien und Faunenverzeichnissen feh­ len dann die Arten, die nicht sicher angesprochen wurden. Oder, was viel schlimmer ist, Da­ ten von Fehlbestimmungen wandern in die Kartei und verbleiben dort. Oftmals fehlt der dazu­ gehörige Falter in der Sammlung, weil er für diese nicht schön genug war. Wer will dann später beurteilen können, ob dieser Fund echt war? Bei manchem Beobachter ist es nicht Stand der Arbeitstechnik, Genitaldiagnosen durchzuführen. Auch fehlen häufig Daten von Imagines, weil bestimmte Arten nur selten oder gar nicht am Licht erscheinen, obwohl sie Vorkommen.

Apdo. 4021. 30071 Murcia − [email protected] Resumen: Se realiza un análisis biogeográfico de 100 especies de la familia Geometridae del Parque Regional de Sierra Es- puña (Murcia, sureste de la Península Ibérica). Los elementos de influencia mediterránea suponen una proporción más eleva- da que los de amplia distribución, mientras que los endemismos ibéricos son escasos aunque representativos de la fauna de Murcia. Destacan las citas de las especies endémicas Zernyia granataria (Staudinger, 1871), Idaea alicantaria (Reisser, 1963), I. lutulentaria (Staudinger, 1892), I. deitanaria Reisser & Weisert, 1977 y Bracchyglossina hispanaria (Püngeler, 1913). A Magyar Természettudományi Múzeum Kárpát-medencei Eupitheciini-gyűjteményét újra rendeztük. A régebbi törzsgyűjteményből és a beosztatlan anyagból összesen 81 faj 16571 példá- nya került elő, melyek mindegyikét meghatároztuk vagy határozását ellenőriztük, egyedi katalógus- számmal láttuk el, és adataikat adatbázisban rögzítettük. Külön felsoroljuk a példányok gyűjtőit. A tételes lelőhelyadatokat közöljük, továbbá minden faj lelőhelyeit ponttérképeken is ábrázoljuk. Rövid, határozást segítő diagnózist adunk mindegyik fajhoz, továbbá hivatkozunk a főbb magyar nyelvű ösz- szefoglaló faunisztikai művekben, illetve határozókönyvekben történő említésükre. Áttekintjük a mú- zeum gyűjteményében őrzött típuspéldányokat (13 taxon 54 példánya). Megállapítottuk, hogy a Tephroclystia graphata ab. brunnea ABAFI-AIGNER, 1906 az Eupithecia graphata (TREITSCHKE, 1828) új szinonimja, az Eupithecia inturbata clujensis DRAUDT, 1933 az Eupithecia inturbata (HÜBNER, 1807) új szinonimja, és a Tephroclystia isogrammaria transsylvanaria DANNEHL, 1933 az Eupithecia

Ges. 102 65-93 München, 15.10.2012 ISSN 0340-4943 On the winter and spring aspect of the Macrolepidoptera fauna of Jordan with remarks on the biology of some species (Lepidoptera: Tineoidea, Cossoidea, Bombycoidea, Papilionoidea, Geometroidea, Noctuoidea) Dirk STADIE and Lutz LEHMANN († 1) Abstract The results of two lepidopterological expeditions to Jordan from December 20 to December 30, 2008 (provinces of Irbid, Karak, Tafila und Ma’an) and March 19 to March 25, 2009 (provinces: Zarqa, Tafila, Irbid and Balqa) are presented. A total of 166 species of Macrolepidoptera could be recorded, among them 21 species new for Jordan. Desertobia heloxylonia lawrencei subsp. n. is described. The female genitalia of Odontopera jordanaria (STAUDINGER, 1898) comb. n., are figured for the first time. The larvae of Odontopera jordanaria STAUDINGER, 1898, Minucia wiskotti (PÜNGELER, 1902), Allophyes benedictina (STAUDINGER, 1892), Agrochola pauli (STAUDINGER, 1892), Agrochola scabra (STAUDINGER, 1892), Agrochola staudingeri RONKAY, 1984, Conistra acutula (STAUDINGER, 1892), Polymixis apora (STAUDINGER, 1898) and Polymixis juditha (STAUDINGER, 1898) are described and figured. Introduction Our knowledge of the winter aspect of the macrolepidoptera fauna of the southwestern Palaearctic region is still lower compared to other seasons. It has been shown during expeditions that in countries with subtropical- mediterranean climate an interesting macrolepidoptera fauna with numerous poorly known or even new species could be ascertained, in the eremic as well as in the steppe and mediterranean zone. The Macroheterocera (Lepidoptera) in the province of Malaga (Spain) until 2015 (II): attraction by ligh traps. Abstract: the result of sampling with light traps in the province of Malaga, in the period 2012- 2015 is presented. The total amounts to 223 species observed. INTRODUCCIÓN En una primera entrega sobre los "Macroheterocera (Lepidoptera) de la provincia de Málaga hasta 2015", se presentó el resultado de la búsqueda de imagos de este grupo faunístico en entornos humanizados (Moreno-Benítez & Gallego- Domínguez, 2016). En esta segunda entrega, se presenta el resultado obtenido mediante el uso de trampas lumínicas, el método más utilizado por los entomólogos en el estudio de los macroheteróceros. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO Se han realizado 78 muestreos con trampas lúminicas en diferentes entornos naturales, principalmente durante las primeras horas de oscuridad. En ello se ha invertido algo más de 169 horas, en el periodo desde 2012 hasta 2015 (tabla I), principalmente en los meses de primavera y verano (tabla II).

Results of the fifth Catalan Moth Nights: 24-28 July 2008. Results of the fifth Catalan Moth Nights (CMN), organized by the Societat Catalana de Lepidopterologia and held on the nights of 24-28 July 2008, are presented. A total of 30 lepidopterists took part in the event and returned data from 47 localities in 15 «comarques» and Andorra. Data from 10.683 specimens belonging to 685 species were recorded, of which the records of Infurcitinea captans Gozm., Chrysoestia eppelsheimi (Stgr), Scrobipalpula tussilaginis (Stt.), Caryocolum fischerella (Tr.) and C. kroesmanniella (H.-S.), are the first for the Iberian Peninsula, and Pyncostola bohemiella (Nick.), Ancylis apicella (D. & S.) and Eupi- thecia cooptata Dtze, are the first for Catalonia.
