A banner (references H118-1976) of this Church has been deposited in Ordsall Hall Museum. The Committee minute book beginning in 1904 (N/CC2/C01/AM1) indicates that the Committee had been, in existence before that date. Early pages in this minute book refer to an application to the Lancashire Congregational Union to be accepted as an aided station and also to a decision to hold the service for ithe opening of the Church on 10 January, I9O6.
