Reason for Vengeance A group of adventurers from Neverwinter threw the Gray Wolf clan into disarray when they hunted down one of the great chiefs of the Gray Wolf tribe, Syken Nightblade.Sample file Eventually, Envir Sykensdottir managed to wrest leadership of the tribe from "pretenders," and is now bent on revenge against the adventurers who dishonored her tribe. Enter the Wheels and Swords caravan, which sent luxury foodstuffs and clockwork machines from Neverwinter to Mirabar. The Gray Wolf clan pounced on the caravan and took Efrio Potter as a prisoner. Fearing for his life, Efrio gave the Gray Wolves information on the inhabitants, locations, and organizations within Neverwinter. By being forthright he earned a quick and painless (if unexpected) death. With this new understanding, Envir Sykensdottir and her shaman Aav'nrr began plotting revenge on the murderers of Syken Nightblade. At first Efrio's information seemed useless, but soon a plan emerged. The shaman and a group of Sykensdottir's most loyal werewolves would infiltrate Neverwinter and slaughter the adventuring party that managed to kill their great leader. 1 Dramatis Personae Order of Events Name Role Phase of Night Moon Victim Syken Murdered Gray Wolf Tribe leader Nightblade -6 New Fisherman Cragmeyer Envir Current chief of the Gray Wolf Tribe -3 Waxing Inpector Amelia Garren Sykendottir Crescent Aav'nrr Uthgardt Shaman leading the werewolves 0 Waxing Ben Longcoats in Neverwinter Crescent Captain Zylus Captain of the guard in the area of the 2 First Orlando Garren, mage Fenn murders Quarter Orlando Mage in the party of adventurers that killed 4 Waxing Yintaria Bramblepelt, member of the Garren Syken Nightblade Gibbous Clockwork Guild Amelia Garren Murder Victim. • Prelude Part 1 Station Station: in All the World of the Drow, There Is No
Prelude Part 1 Station Station: In all the world of the drow, there is no more important word. It is the calling of their, of our religion, the incessant pulling of hungering heartstrings. Ambition over rides good sense and compassion is thrown away in its face, all in the name of Lloth, the Spider Queen. Ascension to power in drow society is a simple process of assassination. The Spider Queen is a deity of chaos, and she and her high priestesses, the true rulers of the drow world, do not look with ill favor upon ambitious individuals wielding poisoned daggers. Of course, there are rules of behavior, every society must boast of these. To openly commit murder or wage war invites the pretense of justice, and penalties exacted in the name of drow justice are merciless. To stick a dagger in the back of a rival during the chaos of a larger battle or in the quiet shadows of an alley, howeveI, is quite acceptable, even applauded. Investigation is not the forte of drow justice. No one cares enough to bother Station is the way of Lloth, the ambition she bestows to further the chaos, to keep her drow "children" along their appointed course of self imprisonment. Children? Pawns more likely, dancing dolls for the Spider Queen, puppets on the imperceptible but impervious strands of her web. All climb the Spider Queen's ladders; all hunt for her pleasure, and all fall to the hunters of her pleasure. Station is the paradox of the world of my people, the limitation of our power within the hunger for power.

  • Aarakocra Sequestered in High Mountains Atop Tall Trees, the Aarakocra, Sometimes Called Birdfolk, Evoke Fear and Wonder
Aarakocra Sequestered in high mountains atop tall trees, the aarakocra, sometimes called birdfolk, evoke fear and wonder. Many aarakocra aren’t even native to the Material Plane. They hail from a world beyond—from the boundless vistas of the Elemental Plane of Air. They are immigrants, refugees, scouts, and explorers, their outposts functioning as footholds in a world both strange and alien. Beak and Feather From below, aarakocra look much like large birds. Only when they descend to roost on a branch or walk across the ground does their humanoid appearance reveal itself. Standing upright, aarakocra might reach 5 feet tall, and they have long, narrow legs that taper to sharp talons. Feathers cover their bodies. Their plumage typically denotes membership in a tribe. Males are brightly colored, with feathers of red, orange, or yellow. Females have more subdued colors, usually brown or gray. Their heads complete the avian appearance, being something like a parrot or eagle with distinct tribal variations. Sky Wardens Nowhere are the aarakocra more comfortable than in the sky. They can spend hours in the air, and some go as long as days, locking their wings in place and letting the thermals hold them aloft. In battle, they prove dynamic and acrobatic fliers, moving with remarkable speed and grace, diving to lash opponents with weapons or talons before turning and flying away. Once airborne, an aarakocra leaves the sky with reluctance. On their native plane, they can fly for days or months, landing only to lay their eggs and feed their young before launching themselves back into the air.

  • A Guide to Storm King's Thunder
1 In this .pdf, we are going to go over Storm King’s Thunder and discuss the things you need to know when running the adventure. This guide has a lot of stuff that should make your life easier. At the end, I have included a sample campaign so newer DMs can get an idea of how to put this adventure together. This guide grew out of my blog: Power Score RPG http://powerscorerpg.blogspot.com/ http://thecampaign20xx.blogspot.com/ When Does This Adventure Take Place? The timeline is kept purposely vague to suit your campaign. This adventure definitely takes place after Tyranny of Dragons. There is a sidebar on page 13 that says that this adventure is assumed to be set after the year 1485 DR. • The Spellplague hit in 1385 DR, which marked the beginning of 4th edition. • The Sundering occurred in either 1484 or 1485 DR and marked the beginning of the D&D Next playtest era. So, yeah, here we are. I'd say you should put in at least a year to account for Tyranny of Dragons, which occurs prior to this adventure. I think saying that there is one year of time between each adventure sounds good. Out of the Abyss could take a very long time in-game. So here’s what you do: • 1486 DR: Tyranny of Dragons • 1487 DR: Princes of the Apocalypse • 1488 DR: Out of the Abyss • 1489 DR: Curse of Strahd • 1490 DR: Storm King’s Thunder If This is Your First Campaign New DMs: If you are new to being a dungeon master, it is important to remember that you can do whatever you want with this book.

  • Collectors Checklist by Richard © 2001, Version 2.7
Dungeons&Dragons Collectors Checklist by Richard © 2001, version 2.7 Well met and welcome to the Collectors Checklist! I made this checklist for myself to keep track of what TSR products I own. Many times was I in the position to photocopy (“Xerox”) a module or booklet that the owner didn’t wish to sell. So gradually my collection expanded with not only genuine products but also with photocopies. Since the coming of the officially digitized classic products (PDF) it is even harder to keep track of what product you own in what format. With the Collectors Checklist you will be able to sort your whole Dungeons&Dragons collection, no matter what the format is! For those out there who haven’t got a clue, here’s how to use the Collectors Checklist: TSR-Code : The product’s publishing code Sub-Code : When a product belongs to a specific group of products it carries this code Title : The product’s title (dah!) Hardcopy : Check this if you have the original item Copy : Check this if you have a copy (Xeroxcopy for instance) of the original product PDF : Check this if you have a digital copy(.pdf/.doc/etc.) of the original product HINT: you can even write down the number when you own more than one copy of a product ; ) If you think any items are missing, please mail me at [email protected] . Feel free to copy/share/print this list. Please visit these websites for the best Dungeons&Dragons archives on the Internet : http://www.acaeum.com http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/index.htm .
