RANDOM THOUGHTS DIFERENTES PENSAMIENTOS from Father Bill Promesso

Leadership Night We bring together our parish staff, parish council, commissions and committees to kick off the meeting year. This time we will examine a draft of my pastoral letter to the parish entitled Ignite the Gospel. This is a parish-level follow up to Archbishop Vigneron’s pastoral letter of Pentecost 2017. I’m looking forward to August 28 and the opportunity to ignite! If you’re on one of the parish consultative groups, please RSVP to the parish office, so we can plan dinner and handouts.

Away Days I’m traveling to Tucson, Arizona on Sunday morning to spend a week visiting friends and seeing that part of the country. Please welcome Fr. Tony Fox, a conventual Franciscan priest and chaplain for U-M Dearborn and Henry Ford Community College. Fr. Tony will preside on Sunday, August 19 and Saturday, August 25. I’ll be with you again on August 26 for the Sunday morning liturgies. Due to my absence, there will not be weekday Masses on August 21, 23, or 24.
