As always, we enjoy looking over your plant lists and helping you locate all the material you want. Also, prices fluctuate, and we welcome your questions in our garden center. THE FARMS We enjoy farming and plan to continue to grow plants for the Northeast for decades to come. We take our role of stewarding soil and water resources very seriously. We currently have farms in Northboro, Sterling, Boylston, and Charlton, producing plants in the field and in container. As we have reached a century of growing, we certainly understand the long term logic of sustainable agriculture. We energetically support both our industry’s and the environmental community’s efforts to educate about the critical role that plant material plays in clean water, habitat restoration, shore erosion, and quality of life. We are proud to be “Growing Green” for 106 years and welcome visits to our farms. NURSERY SALES YARD We maintain one of the largest above ground B&B inventories in the country. Often, our customers reserve plant material for use on upcoming plantings. We allow wholesale customers or their professional representatives to tag plant material. We will not tag material with the clients of wholesale customers unless accompanied by the wholesale customer or landscape architect. Plants selected and tagged by retail customers with our retail salespeople will be charged retail prices. As a service to our customers, we care for reserved plant material at no additional cost, for a reasonable period of time. The reasonable limit of time which plants can be reserved should be discussed at time of purchase. A non- refundable deposit may also be required to hold plant material. Orders can be scheduled to be picked up or delivered on our own fleet of trucks. 1 CLAIMS We take great care to see that only plants in good condition leave our nursery. We also want to provide our customers with all the information they need to have happy thriving plant material. The future growth and success of plants depends on proper planting care, and maintenance. Proper planting instructions and care information is always available in our garden center. We also pride ourselves on an exceptionally qualified staff, including many Massachusetts Certified Horticulturists that can answer your questions and concerns. Trees and shrubs are guaranteed to live for one year from date of purchase as written on the receipt you receive when you purchase the plants. Claims will not be considered without this receipt. If the exact plant that is being replaced is not available, the guarantee may be used for credit for other trees or shrubs up to the dollar amount of the plant being replaced only. Most problems appear within the first month or so and are easily solved with a bit of cultural adjustment. Please call or come into the garden center at the FIRST sign of a problem. More complete information regarding our guarantee is on the back of our warranty receipts and always available from sales personnel. Not covered under our Guarantee 1. Herbaceous perennials, roses, marginally hardy material(designated as zone 6 or higher). Live Christmas trees, groundcover, house plants and annuals. 2. Plants that miss a blooming cycle. 3. Replacement plants. 4. Plants that were not planted, watered, and maintained in a timely manner. 5. Plants destroyed by animals, cars, destructive people, lawn mowers, or the like. “OUR AIM IS SATISFIED CUSTOMERS” We know that no business can grow or even exist to any degree without the good will and support of its customers. We are constantly working to bring you better plants and improved varieties at reasonable prices.
