Dipl.-Ing. Reinhard Schäfer March 28, 2019 Member of Executive Board at Bosch Rexroth AG
Reinhard Schäfer has been a member of the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG since April 2019, with responsibility for production and quality management.
After studying mechanical engineering, he began his professional career as a manufacturing trainee at the former Rexroth Star GmbH in Schweinfurt. There, he held various management positions in manufacturing and quality management before taking over the management of the Schweinfurt plant. After the merger of Mannesmann Rexroth AG with Bosch Automationstechnik, he worked as Manufacturing Manager of Linear Motion Technology in the former Bosch Rexroth Linear Motion and Assembly Technology division.
He then held leading positions in production and quality at various stations within the automotive division of the Bosch Group in Germany, the Netherlands and China.
Most recently, Reinhard Schäfer was a member of the Executive Board of the Bosch Electrical Drives division, where his responsibilities included manufacturing and quality assurance.
