General Griffin College London, GLOBAL PERFORMING ARTS AWARD 2021 are set-up to champion and celebrate the talented, inspiring and skilled professionals. 1.1. The principles of Griffin College London , GLOBAL PERFORMING ARTS AWARD 2021 are: 1.1.1. That shortlisted nominees exemplify good professional practice in their specialist fields and within their respective categories. 1.1.2. That any individual can be nominated, provided they meet the criteria . 1.1.3. That no-one be discriminated against based on their gender, ethnicity, age , sexuality, disability or socio-economic background. 1.1.4. That Griffin College London, GLOBAL PERFORMING ARTS AWARD 2021 does not seek to identify the ‘best’ in any category, but to recognise and champion achievement across the sector. 1.1.5. Being nominated for, or given, an award does not provide a qualification, endorsement or specific recommendation. It demonstrates that the selection panel considered the candidate to have demonstrated sufficient good practice/evidence to warrant receiving an award for their work. 2. Nominations 2.1. Nominations can be received between the dates listed publicly. There is no guarantee that nominations received after this date will be included. 2.1.1. Griffin College London, GLOBAL PERFORMING ARTS AWARD 2021 reserves the right to reopen nominations for a limited time once the formal deadline has passed. 2.1.2. Griffin College London, GLOBAL PERFORMING ARTS AWARD 2021 reserves the right to remove any category that does not receive an appropriate number of eligible nominations. In this instance, those who have made a nomination will be contacted and invited to submit a nomination for another category if they wish. 2.2. Anyone can submit a nomination for a person for any award, except in the following circumstances: 2.2.1. They or the organisation in which they are employed, has sponsored the award. They can still nominate someone for a different award. 3. Selection and Award Giving 3.1. The nominees will be shortlisted by a panel of relevant specialists appointed by Griffin College London. 3.2. The short-listing panel will also make the decision as to who should be the recipient of each Award. 3.3. No correspondence between the Selection Panel, those that nominate or nominees, will take place prior to the decision being made. 3.4. Formal feedback will not be provided to shortlisted nominees unless requested, and at the discretion of those on the judging panel. 3.5. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the awards event. Nominees can send a representative in their place to the awards ceremony; this would need to be agreed in writing at the latest of one (1) week before the Award-giving date, and ideally no less than two (2) weeks. 3.6. The awards ceremony will take place in Summer 2021 . This is the only guaranteed opportunity for a live presentation of the Award. 3.7. The attendees will be asked to provide media consent for their photographs to be taken and used by Griffin Collegr London in promotional print, online marketing and social media. 3.8. The attendees will be asked to provide information for Griffin College London to use during the ceremony, which should be provided by the date provided within the invitation and subsequent correspondence. GRIFFIN COLLEGE LONDON (INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATION BOARD) 3.9. This may include, and is not limited to, information on accessibility needs, headshots or images, biographies and personal contact details of guests. 3.10. will be as accommodating as possible regarding content and information that comes through past the final deadline. However, any information or content that comes through past this date has no guarantee of being used and/or submitted where relevant. 4. The prize will consist of: 4.1. An engraved trophy specific to the award and the award recipient. 4.2 There is no cash prize, or cash alternative to the prize. 4.3 Any award that is not collected on the night will be sent by post to the address provided by the shortlisted nominee. 4.4. In an instance where the shortlisted nominee has not provided an address, Griffin College London will endeavour to secure the appropriate address, including using the addresses submitted on the nomination forms. .
