Key Refraction means the setting is close to the Earth we know, except different in some way. Fantasy settings usually have magic in some form, and multiple sapient races. Beyond that, this section can also be used for otherwise mundane settings that aren’t Earth. Sci-fi indicates a high degree of technological sophistication, usually space travel, and sometimes aliens. This includes settings where Earth exists, but isn’t central to events. Anachronisms are for anything that falls into more than one category, or is hard to define. Red listings need to be pared down or split up. (DNE) means the jump Does Not Exist, but the setting could be used for inspiration. Italics indicates the jump is a CYOA, or could use some research, review, or rethinking.
