Forensic entomology can help to estimate the time elapsed since death by studying the necrophagous insects collected on a cadaver and its surroundings. In this paper forty eight species (369 specimens) are listed that belong to seven families: Silphidae (3 species), Staphylinidae (6 species), Histeridae (11 species), Anobiidae (4 species), Cleridae (6 species), Dermestidae (14 species), and Nitidulidae (4 species). -

As a result of the evaluation of the infested materials which came to our laboratory within the scope of the study, clinical observations were made to understand the intensity of infestations in the region and Geliş / Received: to learn their origins. As a result, dry cat and dog foods were determined to be responsible for infestation. During the 18 Nisan 2019 observations, intense insect populations were found, especially in pet food bowl and bags. The related insects have caused considerable loss of product and significant economic damage in infested pouches. Reports on clinical infestations 18 April 2019 from N. rufipes are quite rare. -

The corpse was found during summer season in Jeddah city, the west region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Two families of Coleoptera were detected to colonize the corpse, they were Dermestidae represented by Dermestes frischii and Cleridae including Necrobia rufipes. The collected stages of beetles were described and photographed. The present work is the first documentation of these two species of beetles on human corpse for Jeddah city, kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In comparison with other Cleridae , The body mostly entirely is metallic green. legs and antennae are red . Localities and date of the collection have been reported. According to Gerstmeier (2000) scavengers .Some feed upon pollen as adults there are approximately 3600 species assigned to whereas larvae are predaceous, bore into dry or just over 300 genera, of which there are about 350 smoked meats and do most damage. -

PMI i.e. Post- Mortem Interval also known as Time Since Death is most important enigma, which has always successfully bedazzled an investigator or a forensic pathologist to determine the correct sequence in which the crime took place. The dead body does not always follow a strict rule towards the different stages of decomposition in regards to the time interval. The temperature, mode of death, food ingested, BMI i.e. Body Mass Index and other environmental factors also influence, the stages observed at different times and often in such scenario forensic entomology is referenced but sometimes, it is not possible to find blow flies or maggots after certain time period. In present study, the main focus is on establishing the post mortem interval through succession of hister sp. and other ground beetles in not only at different stages of decomposition also in different habitats and environmental factors on carcasses found on surfaces but also from exhume bodies. -

CORPORAAL ZoiiLOGISCH MUSEUM, AMSTERDAM (14th Communication on Cleridae) No more than 33 species of Cleridae, belonging to 19 genera, are known to occur in Oceania (about 2,700 species have been described). Seven of these species are not endemic, since they have a very wide distribution outside Oceania, or are even cosmopolitan, spread by commerce or by transports of plant material. Of the remaining 27 species only one belongs to an endemic (monotypic) genus, Tarso stenosis, which is closely allied to the Australian genus Tarsostenodes. Apparently no endemic species occur in Hawaii or in Samoa. All the other species belong to genera which occur in large numbers of species in the neighboring continents (or large islands as New Guinea and New Zealand). It is probable that, although the Cleridae are generally regarded as being of old descent, there are no centers of develop ment in Oceania; this is in sharp contrast to Madagascar where there are many endemic genera, with very many species, strictly confined to that island. In this list I have followed the arrangement of the Catalogue of Junk-Schenkling. I did not think it necessary to sum up all the liter ature references of the widespread species; therefore I have given only such as are necessary to recognize the species or have bearing on its variation; the biological references, however, are, as far as I could ascertain, complete up to the present. -

[Characteristics of the mitochondrial genome of Blacklegged Ham Beetle Necrobia violacea (Coleoptera: Cleridae). Bc. Annotation The nearly complete sequence of mitochondrial DNA from the beetle Necrobia violacea was acquired and characterized. The obtained sequence contained standard series of 37 genes of which 13 were protein-coding genes, 22 were tRNAs and 2 were rRNAs. Due to high AT content a certain part of control region could not be sequenced. Gene order matched the ancestral state of all insects. Mitogenome was compared with 10 species within the infraorder Cucujiformia using all protein-coding genes. Presumed taxonomical position of N. violacea was confirmed.
