The Savings' Bank, established September, 1834; Wm. Chattaway, Esq., treasurer, and Mr. J. S. Leaver, actuary. Public Infirmary, Chapel lane, is a neat building, erected in 1840, at a cost of £1,200. defrayed by subscription; president, Sir Gray Skipwith, Bart.; bon. secretary, Rev. T. R.
