~ Kivells of Holsworthy saw a very large crowd of potential buyers in attendance for the Exmoor collective sale of Tractors & Machinery which took place at Porte Farm, Kentisbury by kind permission of Richard Barrow of A&B Contractors ~

Top call of the day was £18,000 given for the John Deere tractor going to its new home in Newton Abbot. The John Deere butterfly mowers sold at £12,000 going off to Mid Cornwall with the ’02 plate John Deere handler hitting £9,500. The pick of the 11 trailers topped at £5,000 for the Marston trailer going off to Mid Devon with the John Deere mower hitting £3,450.
Toby & Angella Ansdell sold their livestock trailer well at £1,900 with the best of 14 loaders topping at £2,500 on behalf of Messrs Chugg. A good number of static caravans topped at £1,900 going off to Berryharbour with Geoff Hutchings. Plenty of machinery between £800-£1,300 with a 78% clearance on the day.
