Information for customers travelling to North District Hospital by West buses

Dear Customer,

We’ve put together this short guide to help staff, patients and visitors who already use – or are interested in using – our buses to travel to and from District Hospital (NDDH).

If you would like more detailed information on any of our services, timetables are available from the Information Desk located just inside the main entrance to the hospital, Bus Station or online at www.stagecoachbus.com/southwest . What ticket should I buy? If you’re visiting NDDH occasionally… If you are travelling to Barnstaple on one of our buses and then changing onto either service 19 or service 10H to get to NDDH, just ask your driver for a through single or return ticket on the first bus you board. Alternatively, our North Devon Dayrider is just £3.25 and gives you a day of unlimited travel on all of our North Devon buses operating within the North Devon zone. Live locally? A Barnstaple Dayrider is only £2.25.

If you are travelling to NDDH several times a week… You may want to buy a North Devon Megarider. North Devon Megariders start from just £10.50 for 7 days of unlimited travel. You can buy a 1 week Megarider from your bus driver and 4, 13 and 52 week Megariders online at www.buymymegarider.com .

Barnstaple Park & Ride: your direct connection to NDDH Our Park & Ride service 19 is much more than just somewhere to leave the car when you pop into town. Buses now run from the Park & Ride site - via Barnstaple Bus Station and Green Lanes - direct to NDDH every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday . Service 10H: Getting you to NDDH on a Sunday The 10H runs on Sundays from Whiddon Valley via the bus station and onto NDDH.
