Part III– Contains Standard Conditions of TE, which will form part of the Contract with the successful Bidder. d. Part IV – Contains Special Conditions applicable to this TE and which will also form part of the contract with the successful Bidder. e. Part V – Contains Evaluation Criteria and Format for Price Bids. 4. This TE is being issued with no financial commitment and the Buyer reserves the right to change or vary any part thereof at any stage. Tender Document Cost (Non-refundable): Tender documents can be downloaded from website www.ofbeproc.gov.in Tender documents can also be collected from HEF on payment of tender fees in the form of DD/IPO of Rs 100/-(for tender value upto Rs 50 lakhs)/Rs 250/- (for tender value from Rs 50 lakhs to 1 crore)/ Rs 500/- (for tender value from Rs 1 crore to 5 crore)/ Rs 1000/- (for tender value more than Rs 5 crore )in favour of GM/HEF. 3. Date and Time for opening of Bids(Q/BID): 02/03/2018 @ 02:30 p.m. 4. Two bid System: In case of Two Bid system, only the technical bid would be opened on the time and date mentioned above. Commercial bids of only those firms will be opened, whose technical bids are found compliant/suitable after Technical Evaluation is done by the buyer.(NOT APPLICABLE FOR THIS TENDER) 5. Forwarding of Bids: Bids should be forwarded by Bidders under their original memo / letter pad inter alia furnishing details like TIN number, VAT/CST number, Bank address with EFT Account if applicable, etc. and complete postal & e-mail address of their office. 6. Clarification regarding contents of the TE: A prospective bidder who requires clarification regarding the contents of the bidding documents shall notify to the Buyer in writing about the clarifications sought not later than 14 (fourteen) days prior to the date of opening of the Bids. Copies of the query and clarification by the purchaser will be sent to all prospective bidders who have received the bidding documents. 7. Modification and Withdrawal of Bids: A bidder may modify or withdraw his bid after submission provided that the written notice of modification or withdrawal is received by the Buyer prior to deadline prescribed for submission of bids. A withdrawal notice may be sent by fax but it should be followed by a signed confirmation copy to be sent by post and such signed confirmation should reach the purchaser not later than the deadline for submission of bids. No bid shall be modified after the deadline for submission of bids. No bid may be withdrawn in the interval between the deadline for submission of bids and expiration of the period of bid validity specified. Withdrawal offer bid during this period will result in bidder‟s forfeiture of bid security. 8. Clarification regarding contents of the Bids: During evaluation and comparison of bids, the Buyer may, at its discretion, ask the bidder for clarification of his bid. The request for clarification will be given in writing and no change in prices or substance of the bid will be sought, offered or permitted. No post-bid clarification on the initiative of the bidder will be entertained. 9. Rejection of Bids: Canvassing by the Bidder in any form, unsolicited letter and post-tender correction may invoke summary rejection with forfeiture of EMD. Conditional tenders will be rejected. 10.Unwillingness to quote: Bidders unwilling to quote should ensure that intimation to this effect reaches before the due date and time of opening of the Bid, failing which the defaulting Bidder may be delisted for the given range of items as mentioned in this RFP. 11.Validity of Bids: The Bids should remain valid till 90 days from the last date of submission of the single Bid. In case of two bid system bids validity should remain 120 days from the last date of submission of bid. 12. Earnest Money Deposit: Bidders are required to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for amount of INR 45,500/- (Rs. FORTY FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONLY) along with the bids. The EMD may be submitted in the form of an Account Payee Demand Draft, Fixed Deposit Receipt, Banker's Cheque or Bank Guarantee from any commercial banks or payment online in an acceptable form as per form given at Annexure 22 (OFBPM-2010) safeguarding the purchaser‟s interest in all respects. EMD is to remain valid for a period of forty-five days beyond the final bid validity period. EMD of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them at the earliest after expiry of the final bid validity and latest on or before the 30th day after the award of the contract. The Bid Security of the successful bidder would be returned, without any interest whatsoever, after the receipt of Performance Security from them as called for in the contract. EMD is to obtained from the bidders except Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) as defined in MSE procurement policy issued by Department of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) or are registered with Ordnance factories or the central purchase organisation or the concerned Ministry or Department or Start-ups as recognized by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP). The EMD will be forfeited if the bidder withdraws or amends impairs or derogates from the tender in any respect within the validity period of their tender. (M. S. The Alliance conducted an energy audit on the Cantonment Water Works, and PMC implemented the suggested low-cost measures in 2000. The savings totaled 4,230,000 kWh with an average payback of 16 months. However, the project came to a standstill due to various reasons in 2000 and resumed after 2004 when PMC came under new administration and rekindled its partnership with the Alliance. This case study describes only the second phase of the Pune water efficiency effort, implemented in 2005 and 2006.

In this work we have analyzed Mula-Mutha river water quality for drinking purpose. Various river water parameters were analyzed and are compared to established standards given by WHO. The river water analysis showed that the river water is not suitable for potable use in city area. Paud road and Kothrud. Out o f these areas. Chinchw'ad and its environs is most prominent in development of industries in the region. The area contains a number of large, medium and small-scale units.' In 1916-17 City Development Act was made applicable to Pune and development of the city started slowly. Population also began to increase, due to which difficulties arose in the communication between various parts o f the city. Consequently the idea o f bus services in the city was born.
