Coming up: • Construction due to start November 2014 Ngauranga to Linden (Petone to Grenada) What’s been happening: • 1400 informal submissions have been received on the Project. Coming up: • Wellington Councils Chief Executives group formed to guide the direction of the Project. • Preferred Option confirmed early 2015. • Consenting phase 2016 - 2017. • Construction 2019 - 2023. Linden to MacKays (Transmission Gully) What’s been happening: • Wellington Gateway Partnership (WGP) selected as the preferred bidder for the 27km Project. • WGP a consortium comprising Leighton Contractors (lead), HEB Construction, InfraRed Infrastructure General Partner, The Bank of Tokyo–Mitsubishi UFJ and the Accident Compensation Corporation. Coming up: • Detailed design underway. • Construction expected to commence in early 2015 and is scheduled to take 5 years.
