This "late harvest" wine is traditionally pressed from grapes that are harvested after they freeze on the vine. "Eiswein" literally means "ice wine," and is called so on some labels. The winery’s style delivers pure, precise, elegant and textured wines, with remarkable longevity. These high-quality wines reflect their sourcing, primarily Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, and are crafted without malolactic fermentation and with a minimum of inputs beyond what the grapes provide. ABOUT THE WINE The Grand Blanc de Blancs encompasses the finesse of the Côte des Blancs and the structure of the Montagne de Reims. This cuvée launched in 2011 – a bold move from a winery whose history is rooted in the Pinot Noir territory of Aÿ.
