For the sake of this wine list, our natural wines are wines that are grown or produced by winemakers implementing organic & biodynamic practices, mostly unfined & unfiltered, and the least amount of sulfur added at the end of bottling, or no sulfur added at all. These wines are complex and interesting much like our food and greatly complement our menu. These wines are alive, have character and evolve very quickly over time in the glass. They are meant to be enjoyed with food, with us here at Alter.

  • Domaine Regis Bouvier
DOMAINE REGIS BOUVIER Country: France Region: Burgundy Appellation(s): Bourgogne, Marsannay, Fixin, Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin Producer: Régis Bouvier Founded: 1981 Annual Production: 6,000 cases Farming: Lutte Raisonnée (starting with 1998 vintage) Régis Bouvier in Marsannay achieves a rare hat trick in Burgundy, the mastering of all three colors– red, white and rosé, through reasonable yields and high quality terroirs. Bouvier makes the best Burgundian rosé that we have ever tasted, his whites are delicious, with their own particular character completely unlike other Chardonnays from Burgundy, and his reds are his crowning achievement, managing to be wild and exciting while refined and elegant at the same time. Bouvier’s vineyards in Marsannay are premier-cru quality (some may even get classified) and his lieu- dit Bourgogne Rouge En Montre Cul vineyard is of a quality well above most (cultivated on a steep slope, not flatland Bourgogne). And don’t miss his Morey-St-Denis En la Rue de Vergy, a superb vineyard right above the Grand Cru Clos de Tart. This domaine represents terrific value for a number of reasons–a lesser-known appellation combined with quality vineyard holdings and a conscientious and talented wine grower. 1605 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702 www.kermitlynch.com | [email protected] Berkeley Retail: 510.524.1524 | California Wholesale: 510.903.0440 | National Distribution: 707.963.8293 DOMAINE REGIS BOUVIER (continued) Vine Vineyard Wine Blend Soil Type Age Area* Avg. 35 Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir Limestone,

With more than 1,500 years of cultivation, it is hard to argue against the Musique et Vin festival by holding an auction for special bottles donated by winemakers this belief. However, to The Wine Forum, Burgundy is more than just pure, scholarly wine. To us, whom we will be visiting and splitting the proceeds equally between these two worthy causes. Burgundy represents all that we as a group stand for—that is, that fine wine is not a right, but a And what a tour we have lined up! We commence with a Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru tasting privilege. Speaking with the region’s very top winemakers, they resolutely believe they are merely the current custodians of cherished plots, and that their role is to make the best wines possible at the Château du Clos de Vougeot on the final night of the 2014 Musique et Vin Festival. This and pass on the vineyard in the best condition possible to the next generation. Working the soil fabled region hosts 9 Grand Cru vineyards, the most of any in Burgundy.

  • Blanc De Blancs Nv Brut, Champagne, France
FRANCE CHAMPAGNE | BLANC DE BLANCS NV BRUT, ODILON DE VARINE, Cellar Master CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE ABOUT THE WINERY Champagne Gosset has been family owned and operated since 1584, making it the oldest wine house in Champagne. The winery’s style delivers pure, precise, elegant and textured wines, with remarkable longevity. These high-quality wines reflect their sourcing, primarily Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, and are crafted without malolactic fermentation and with a minimum of inputs beyond what the grapes provide. ABOUT THE WINE The Grand Blanc de Blancs encompasses the finesse of the Côte des Blancs and the structure of the Montagne de Reims. This cuvée launched in 2011 – a bold move from a winery whose history is rooted in the Pinot Noir territory of Aÿ. However, in recent decades, Gosset’s wines are dominated by Chardonnay, reflecting access to the best Chardonnay sites. The family and winery team offers a wine with finesse, elegance and freshness in the style of its other cuvées. KEY SELLING POINTS • Two keys to Gosset style are avoiding malolactic fermentation, which allows the terroir of the cru vineyards to shine, and the extended lees aging, which adds texture and complexity • During assemblage, all the lots are tasted blind – there are no recipes with Champagne Gosset; dosage is also selected during blind trials • Key crus influence this wine: Avize brings vivacity and purity, Chouilly adds richness and texture and Cramant provides minerality and salinity • Grand Blanc de Blancs is technically an Extra Brut style with 6 g/L dosage TECHNICAL DETAILS Appellation: Champagne, France Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay Aging: 4 years on lees before disgorgement | Malolactic Fermentation: None Alcohol: 12.0% | Total Acidity: 6.2 g/L | Residual Sugar: 6.0 g/L “… the latest rendition of the NV Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut exhibits scents of citrus oil, green apples, fennel, white flowers and freshly baked bread.

KEY SELLING POINTS • Two keys to Gosset style are avoiding malolactic fermentation, which allows the terroir of the cru vineyards to shine, and the extended lees aging, which adds texture and complexity • During assemblage, all the lots are tasted blind – there are no recipes with Champagne Gosset; dosage is also selected during blind trials • Key crus influence this wine: Avize brings vivacity and purity, Chouilly adds richness and texture and Cramant provides minerality and salinity • Grand Blanc de Blancs is technically an Extra Brut style with 6 g/L dosage TECHNICAL DETAILS Appellation: Champagne, France Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay Aging: 4 years on lees before disgorgement | Malolactic Fermentation: None Alcohol: 12.0% | Total Acidity: 6.2 g/L | Residual Sugar: 6.0 g/L “Bright and graceful, this leads on the nose with racy chalk and smoke notes, a minerally underpinning for delicate flavors of Gala apple, blanched almond, fleur de sel and pickling ginger.

  • Age Is Just a Number. It´S Totally Irrelevant, Unless of Course, You Happen to Be a Bottle of Wine!
AGE IS JUST A NUMBER. IT´S TOTALLY IRRELEVANT, UNLESS OF COURSE, YOU HAPPEN TO BE A BOTTLE OF WINE! - JOAN COLLINS WELCOME TO THE WINE SELECTION OF NORDA! This is a predominately American wine list. We serve wine from all over America but mainly from Oregon. Oregon are bordered by Washington on the north and California in the south. We also serve amazing Riesling from New York State on the east coast. In the kitchen we focus on the combination of the Swedish West coast and the East coast in America and our wine list’s ambition is to make a full circle. We can proudly say that we have the largest selection of Oregon wine on our list, outside of Oregon of course. Pinot Noir is the main grape variety in Oregon and we hope you will revel our wide range of delicious Pinot Noirs. If you are up for European wine we have the classics and some great wildcards once in a while. Enjoy, and remember seven days without wine makes one weak! On behalf of the Oregon wine industry, the Oregon Wine Board is pleased to inform that the restaurant Norda has won a 2017 Oregon Wine A-List Award. The A-List Awards is a partnership between the Oregon Wine Press and the Oregon Wine Board recognizing restaurants across the world displaying enthusiasm for Oregon wine and a deep appreciation of the diverse regions, varieties and producers of Oregon. Wines marked green are LIVE-certified.
