Précis of the Council Outreach Meeting on 12th September 2006 There was quite a reasonable turnup at Windellama Hall considering the 6pm starting time. All but 2 councilors attended, so it was good to put faces to names. After a few councilors and council staff gave their briefing, it was then questions from the floor. Most questions from various members of the public were all in relation to the state of our unsealed and sealed roads, mainly Lumley Rd, Oallen Ford Rd, and Jacqua Rd. A small briefing in relation to Ardmore Park Quarry was also given. Thanks to Cathy Meehan & Frances Knights for supper. www.windellama.com.au 41 The Windellama News October 2006 www.qualityruralsolutions.com.au RURAL COURSES IN THE WINDELLAMA AREA Presented by Quality Rural Solutions – Jane Vincent & Associates Identification & Management of Native Grass Pastures for Agriculture and Conservation Cost: $230 (GST free) $368/couple A one day workshop identifying the characteristics of local native grasses and how to best manage these grasses for agriculture and conservation.
