JEAN BUDNEY (Renee Pelagie) is happy to be working with Norman Blumensaadt again after making her Austin debut this past summer as Annie Twohig in Different Stages’ Is Life Worth Living? Previously seen as Grace in Way-Off Broadway’s production of Bus Stop, Jean is a graduate of Boston Conservatory of Music who has performed in many stage productions. She also sang in nightclubs and did jingle and voiceover work in for many years. Predominantly a performer, Jean lists her favorite past roles as Mame in Mame, Amy in Company, Ruby in Dames at Sea, and Sharon McLonergan in Finian’s Rainbow.

ANN FORD (Costume Design) is designing for the first with Different Stages. She worked for seven years at Austin Lyric Opera as costume shop manager and was nominated for an Austin Critics Table award for costume design in ALO’s 2001 production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
