An overflow crowd enjoyed Bill O’Neal’s talk about the earliest years of Harrison, Panola and Shelby Counties. The book is available at the Mu- seum and Bill O’Neal will return to Marshall soon for a book signing at the Museum. You won’t want to miss his talk about his book! THE MUSEUM NEEDS YOU! PAGE 3 The Museum has many wonderful volunteer opportunities for our members and friends. The Collections Committee needs volunteers to assist in the documentation and preservation of artifacts. A handbook and training is available. Volunteers for the Exhibits Committee will assist with the research, design and installation of ex- hibits for the Harrison County Historical Mu- seum. If you would like to serve on these com- mittees, please contact Peggy Riddle at (214) 826-2420. The Library/Research Committee needs volun- teers to help with the documentation and pres- ervation of books, documents and historical photographs. They need people to assist with research inquiries.
