PayPal’s PayFlow Pro (formerly VeriSign) Processor Setup

To set up PayPal PayFlow Pro (formerly Verisign) an Internet Merchant Account is needed. You should be able to accomplish this with your local bank or financial institution. The bank or financial institution needs to know the account is going to use PayFlow Pro from Verisign/PayPal.

Here are the steps to gather the processor information for your PayPal PayFlow Pro account:

1. Contact your merchant bank to obtain the processor your account will be using.

These are the processors that are compatible with TownNews.com at this time. The processors that are listed here MUST be one that the bank uses:

2. Once a processor has been decided (that is in the above list), find the appropriate processor information sheet included in this file for the information needed to setup your processor.

3. You (or most likely your bank) will need to fill out the requested information for that processor – all information on the processor sheet in RED is REQUIRED.
