Match background • Indrek Zelinski's 36th-minute strike proved to be the only goal of their encounter on 21 May 2002, with Arno Pijpers's Estonia getting the better of Giampaolo Mazza's San Marino in Serravalle. • It was Zelinski's 22nd goal for Estonia, and broke Eduard Ellman-Eelma's national goalscoring record. Andres Oper, however, is now Estonia's all-time top scorer with 38, Zelinski having retired with 27 international goals to his name. • In the only encounter to date between the nations' clubs, SP La Fiorita lost 1-0 at home and 7-0 away to Estonian side FC Levadia Tallinn in the first qualifying round of this season's UEFA Champions League. • The only other encounter between sides from these nations in UEFA club competition was in the UEFA Regions' Cup – the competition for Europe's top amateur sides – where South Amateur from Estonia beat a San Marino national selection 2-0 in September 2002. • No Sammarinese side has thus scored in four encounters with Estonian opponents. 3 San Marino - Estonia Saturday 15 November 2014 - 18.00CET (18.00 local time) Match press kit San Marino Stadium, Serravalle Squad list San Marino Current season Overall Qual. Magnus Pehrsson Date of birth: 25 May 1976 Nationality: Swedish Playing career: IF Brommapojkarna, Djurgårdens IF (twice), Bradford City AFC (loan), IFK Göteborg Coaching career: Åtvidabergs FF, IK Sirius, GAIS Göteborg, Aalborg BK, Djurgårdens IF, Estonia • A midfielder who made his name with Djurgården, Pehrsson lifted the Swedish title with the Stockholm club in 2002 yet was forced to end his career in 2003 after suffering serious injury. • Despite his young age Pehrsson learned the coaching ropes at Åtvidaberg before a move to Sirius in 2006; tasted life in Sweden's top tier when he joined GAIS in 2008. • After a season in the Allsvenskan he went to Denmark with AaB in January 2009, guiding the side to a seventh- placed finish in his first term. The club came two places higher the following campaign, yet Pehrsson departed the helm in October 2010. • Returned to Sweden to take charge of former team Djurgården in May 2011, helping them avoid relegation in his first season before steering them to a ninth-placed finish in the 2012 campaign. • Resigned as Djurgården boss in April 2013 and appointed Estonia's national team coach in December that year. 6 San Marino - Estonia Saturday 15 November 2014 - 18.00CET (18.00 local time) Match press kit San Marino Stadium, Serravalle Match officials Referee Felix Brych (GER) Assistant referees Mark Borsch (GER) , Stefan Lupp (GER) Additional assistant referees Felix Zwayer (GER) , Marco Fritz (GER) Fourth official Marco Achmüller (GER) UEFA Delegate Ísak Mikladal (FRO) UEFA Referee observer Günter Benkö (AUT) Referee UEFA EURO Name Date of birth UEFA matches matches Felix Brych 03/08/1975 6 63 Felix Brych Referee since: 1993 First division: 2004 FIFA badge: 2007 Tournaments: 2014 FIFA World Cup, 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, 2012 Olympic Games Finals 2014 UEFA Europa League UEFA European Championship matches featuring the two countries involved in this match No such matches refereed Other matches involving teams from either of the two countries involved in this match No such matches refereed 7 San Marino - Estonia Saturday 15 November 2014 - 18.00CET (18.00 local time) Match press kit San Marino Stadium, Serravalle Competition facts 8 San Marino - Estonia Saturday 15 November 2014 - 18.00CET (18.00 local time) Match press kit San Marino Stadium, Serravalle Match-by-match lineups San Marino European Qualifiers Matchday 1 (08/09/2014) San Marino 0-2 Lithuania Goals: 0-1 Matulevičius 5, 0-2 Novikovas 36 San Marino: A.
