   @A                  : : : ::: Minutes of the Previous Meeting The December meeting opened at 8.17 pm with the President in the chair. He welcomed all present. The magazine had been received by all present. The minutes of the November meeting were taken as read on a motion moved by John McCormick and seconded by David Green. The Treasurer reported Income of $360.90 and Expenses of $292.84 for a loss of $68.06 for the month leaving a Bank Balance of $2451.51. This report was received on a motion moved by Tony Ferguson and seconded by Vien Nguyen. The Secretary reported that the following correspondence had been received: Author’s copy of Great Lakes Cichlid Society’s Cichlid Evening Post for Peter Robinson. Revised regulations for using Print Post from Australia Post. Renewal from John Cousins. Bill for postage. Bank statement. A copy of “Discussion of control mechanisms for the regulation and management of noxious ornamental fish and rare fish already in circulation in Australia” from Norm Halliwell. The Treasurer reported that Trading Post had acknowledged we had paid in full. The correspondence was received on a motion moved by Aussie Magnussen and seconded by Tony Ferguson. After a brief mini auction courtesy of David Green, Daryl Hutchins then showed the CD of TCM 1972 - 2009. At 9.05 pm a short break was called after which the Annual General Meeting was held. The AGM closed at 9.40 pm and the General Meeting resumed and a quiz was held. Thanks to Peter Robinson and Daryl Hutchins for the questions. The raffle was then drawn and Daryl Hutchins won the first prize, Tony Ferguson ac- cepted second prize and Peter Robinson accepted third prize. Door prizes, courtesy of Aqua Pics, were won by Aussie Magnussen, Jeff Staude, Uri Bouman, David Green Jr, Sandra Robotis and Dean Hepper. Dean Hepper then thanked the Editor for publishing Ruby’s birth notice. The Committee meeting will be held on 15 January 2010. The President wished all a Merry Christmas and Safe Holiday and invited all to the next meeting on 3 February, 2010. The meeting closed at 10.05 for supper and a chat.
