In the end of 1966 the founder of the French car company Alpine - Jean Réd élé - arrived in Sofia, Bulgaria, having been invited by the ETO (export trade organisation) Bulet. Bulet was the same Bulgarian firm that had, through cooperation with , already began the assembly of Bulgarrenault, and now had the same intention regarding Alpine. Rédélé made an attractive offer of cooperation to the Bulgarian side, and in early 1967 sent to Bulgaria several of his 1,000-cubic centimetres-displacement engines, two of which were installed into Bulgarrenault 8 bodies. Shortly after that, Rédélé sent his engineering

The first several Bulgaralpines were assembled at the end of 1967 when the stunning was an absolute hit in Europe and the United States.

The initial intentions were to produce one Bulgaralpine car per day, but even now it is difficult to say how many Bulgaralpines were built when production ended in 1969. Some sources state that only 60 cars were completed, others mention 120 (70 for sale in Bulgaria, and 50 - for export). The production manager and race car driver Iliya Chubrikov recalls about 100 completed cars, none of which were exported beyond Bulgaria's borders.

In any case, an early prototype was shown at the Geneva Salon in March 1958, and the car was officially introduced in October at the Paris show.

Months later, in June 1959, the impatient clientele of the French brand received the first model of the series. The orders exceeded the expectations of Renault's marketing strategists. At the beginning, a production capacity of 30 cars per day had been planned, but there was already an urgent need to create about 200 units per day, which represented an increase of almost 700%.

In just three years, more than 45,000 Floride and Caravelle cars were sold.

The Renault design office contacted Luigi Segre, the boss of the Ghia body shop, responsible for the final touch-ups on the Dauphine. But this time, full powers are granted to him to draw the lines of the . However, Ghia decided to entrust this mission to Swiss designer following an exclusivity clause that bound Ghia to for the Ghia coupe. The only constraints, which are imposed on the designer, concern the use of the Dauphine base, as well as its mechanical elements and its running gear. At first sight of the sketches, the car seduces with its slender, balanced, modern and chic lines. Pierre Dreyfus himself decides to baptize this project: Florida.

Ritmo 130TC was produced between 1984 - 1988 , developed 130 bhp at 5900 rpm. . The latter was based on the 125 TC but was powered by a 1995 cc engine with power output increased to 130 PS (96 kW; 128 bhp). This was achieved by replacing the single Weber carb used in the 125 TC with twin Solex/Weber carburettors on a side- draught manifold, and via improved cam profiles. The 130 TC had a top speed of 195 km/h (121 mph) and accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.8 seconds.[16] It was fitted with Recaro bucket seats in Britain (optional in Europe) and it remained the only 1980s European hot hatch to continue utilise carburettors instead of fuel injection. Ignition tim The powerful twin-cam was mated to a close ratio five-speed ZF manual gearbox and had superior performance to its contemporary rivals ing was controlled electronically.

From 1990 to 1995, Mercedes-Benz sold a high- performance version of the W124, the Mercedes-Benz

500 E (W124.036). The 500 E was created in close cooperation with Porsche.

During production Mercedes-Benz delivered parts to Porsche's "Reutter-Bau" plant in Zuffenhausen (an urban district of Stuttgart) where the 500 E chassis were hand- assembled. When finished the chassis were transported by truck to the Mercedes-Benz assembly plant in Sindelfingen to be painted. As soon as the paint was dry the varnished chassis were then shipped back to Porsche's "Rössle-Bau" in Zuffenhausen where the engine was put in and the car completed. For final inspection and delivery the vehicles again were transported to Sindelfingen. This process took a full 18 days per car.

For a modern, mass-produced car, the 500E/E500 was relatively low-production, had a bespoke feel, and involved all kinds of unusual extra work for both manufacturers. Of the total 10,479 cars produced between 1991 and 1994.

For Mercedes-Benz, this car was less about profit and more about making a statement to the rest of the automotive world.

Once you own an Indian, the spirit of life tingles in your veins - the exhilara tion of power thrills you - the world lies before you to explore - the joys of touring are yours

Indian was the World’s Largest Motorcycle Manufacturer in 1913.

New for 1913 was a "Cradle Spring Frame" that incorporated the world's first swingarm rear suspension system. When the rear wheel encountered a bump, two vertical rods actuated a pair of leaf springs attached to the frame beneath the seat. This joined a conventional (at least for Indian) trailing-link front fork that worked in a similar fashion.

Until the departure of Oscar Hedstorm in 1913, Indian motorcycles were among the most modern motorcycles in the world in terms of their technical solutions, design and useful value.
