Omwenga, maître de Conférences à la Faculté de Calcul et d’Informatique de l’Université de Nairobi, au Kenya. Je dispense une grande variété de cours en sciences informatiques et je dirige un service de recherche et de consultance. Je suis aussi actuellement le directeur des TIC dans cette même université. Le but de ce module est de vous initier aux notions de base en Technologie de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC). Ce module est le deuxième de la collection des modules ompétences de base en TIC. Il se rapporte à vos capacités d’utilisation d’une application de traitement de texte sur l’ordinateur (par exemple 2SHQ2I¿FH:ULWHU DLQVLTXHG¶XQHDSSOLFDWLRQGHPLFURpGLWLRQ SDUH[HPSOH 6FULEXV &HVRXWLOVGHSURGXFWLYLWpYRXVSHUPHWWURQWGHVRXWHQLUHI¿FDFHPHQW la communication éducative en vous dotant des compétences de base requises en bureautique. Les TIC sont devenus des outils pratiques pour l’enseignement de divers sujets, surtout ceux portant sur la science. Ce module, le deuxième d’une série de quatre, a été créé dans le but de vous transmettre ces compétences. Une fois les compétences de base acquises, il est important de maîtriser l’environnement et certains logiciels essentiels à la formation des enseignants. Ce module présente l’environnement de base (Microsoft Windows) et deux types de logiciels : un logiciel de traitement de texte et un logiciel de microédition. En tant qu’enseignant, cela vous permettra d’être plus apte à naviguer sur un ordinateur en plus d’être apte à produire plusieurs types de documents : travaux, publications, articles, devoirs, etc. Des étudiants lors d’une session pratique pour l’acquisition de compétences en TIC. Peterson Introduction On Monday, March 23, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. I walked into what I thought was a routine meeting of the Board of Directors of WordPerfect Corporation. Bruce Bastian, the Chairman of the Board, invited me to sit down in his office. Alan Ashton, the President of the company, entered the room and took a seat. The three of us had been the only members of the Board of Directors for the past ten years. We owned all the stock in the company. Alan made it a point to tell me we were having a shareholders' meeting, not a Board meeting. This seemingly small clarification was no minor detail. As with most companies, the shareholders of WordPerfect Corporation rarely met in an official capacity. When we did, it was usually to meet legal requirements rather than to address any serious business issues. The important decisions were made by the Board of Directors, even though it consisted of the same three individuals. A special meeting of the shareholders meant a change to the Board. Duff Thompson, our attorney, also joined the meeting. He repeated Alan's warning that we were having a shareholders' meeting, and gave us each a paper to sign to make sure the meeting was absolutely official. This did not look good for me. Alan looked down at the conference table and recited from memory what sounded like a carefully worded speech. He and Bruce believed it was time for a change.

    2 Textový editor Word- práca so súborom Textový editor je program ktorý umožňuje vytváranie a úpravu textových dokumentov, neumožňuje meniť vzhľad dokumentu – formátovanie. Najznámejší textový editor je Poznámkový blok. Známe sú aj PSPad, TED Notepad, Textpad, Vim, EmEditor, Sublime Text ... Používajú sa na vytváranie a úpravu systémových súborov, písanie programov, zdrojových textov HTML . Textový procesor je program, v ktorom je možné vytvárať a upravovať textové dokumenty. Možno nim presne definovať vzhľad stránky. Do každého súboru možno vkladať nové objekty – obrázky, grafy, tabuľky, prevzaté texty... Prvoradou úlohou textových procesorov je rýchla a efektívna tvorba dokumentov. Ak editor ponúka i niečo naviac, užívateľov poteší, ale pokiaľ im bude robiť problémy napísať niekoľko riadkov textu, tak potom takýto editor používať asi nebudú.
